How long ago was aeroburner released? Looks like this is the line to replace it...if so over 16 months or so...

Is that iron hosel fluted? Adaptor of some sort?

IMO it looks good. The hosel on the iron looks intriguing to say the least.

We all need Irons that have loft adjustability. /s

Not sure why this would be deleted. It is from a published magazine ad in this month's Golf Magazine that has already been released.

Interesting to say the least. Wonder if it is going to be a glued hosel on the driver and woods.

They dropped the ball naming this M2. Now every jabroni will think that it is replacing the M1... Cmon Taylormade why don't you ask me about these things before you do it?

I wouldn't say obsolete as I still play TM R7 HFS 5 wood which plays @ 22* and it works pretty damn good imo. So obsolete would be a bad choice of words as you can still use many clubs from 5 years ago if they work for you. It's only obsolete for people who have a bag full of BN clubs every 3/6 months.... lol

maybe the hosel shown is just for trial clubs for a quick shaft change ?

Even if this was meant as tongue in cheek, how many drivers since the SLDR has TM released? Jetspeed, Aeroburner, R15 and M1? In that same timescale how many have Callaway released? Big Bertha, Big Bertha Alpha, V-Series, Big Bertha 815, Big Bertha 815 DBD, XR and XR Pro, Great Big Bertha, XR16 and XR16 pro and I'm sure I've missed a couple in there.........

If you're going to include the Callaway Pros, include the TM R15, Jetspeed and Aeroburner TPs and SLDR 430, S, and C. Callaway still probably has more but it is not that big a gap.

If you look at TMs drivers as two separate product lines, then it doesn't look as frequent.

Jetspeed was announced around Nov 2013. Then they had the SLDR S, Aeroburner, and now M2.

SLDR was announced around July 2013. Then they had the R15 and now M1.

Not sure if I'm missing anything though? I don't follow TM much.

I don't know why everyone gets all bent about product cycles. It makes for some awesome pricing down the road.

Not picking on you, but who cares? You buy golf equipment for value? It's not like buying a Rolex guys. I'm just a tad bit tired of obsolete argument. I have a great Covert with upgrade shaft that still performs fantastic and I can't get $30 bucks for a trade. All golf equipment is too expensive...so shop around and get the best deal that is best for your games and have fun.

It would be nice if just one time we could just talk about the equipment. Yes, TM launches equipment often, but so does other OEMs (most notably Callaway).

I for one am tired of having to sift through over half of the posts to read something meaningful. If you don't like TM's launch cycles, just ignore the topic. Please stop all of the meaningless bitching. Some of us are really interested in the topic, not your displeasure with TM Marketing.

Not sure I agree. Using this logic then the Titleist AP2 would replace the AP1 which it does not. They are two separate products geared for different player types. We should give TM some time to build the story for where these fit. A lot of people have asked for naming consistency from OEMs so let see what happens.

My comment is not about the clubs, I am not too worried about when any Golf Industry comes out with new equipment, I follow the hype and comments, then I go and demo the equipment and lastly I will wait and get the equipment at a lower price (discounted) once the new stuff comes out, but, I have to say that I really like the new Adidas Tour 360 Boost, I have bad knees and back from being injured in Iraq and the Boost shoes have done wonders for my game...

Titleist did plenty of leg work prior with marketing and press differing the two lines at the same time. Also I am fairly confident they both were released at the same exact time (2008?) which completely changes the comparison here. So I disagree with your statement on AP1/AP2 working out. Maybe it works out, but even then they certainly didn't do themselves any favors here IMO

So the worry is.....

M1 came out and is adjustable. No other naming conventions on it.

M2 non adjustable, coming out 6(or so) months later. No other naming conventions on it.

Titleist will keep the AP1 and AP2's and add the 712, 714, etc after them for their yearly releases.

The next product to take over for the M1? Will it be the M3? Taylormade tends to go with one name. The M3 is a replacement for the M2? AHHHHHHHH!

It should be M Series....1,2,3,4,5(whatever naming for the adjustable woods)

Then a (_) Series and some kind of yearly naming convention as well.

This removes the oh the M2 is a replacement for the M1 thoughts of your regular Joe golfers who do not spend time toiling through golf forums and stay on top of every new release from the manufactureres.

One thing that is missing is a mini driver. I expected one in the M2 lineup.
