Nickname on Ping Ball pocket?

I have a Ping Hoofer 14 that you can remove and personalize the ball pocket.

 

Haven't had much luck getting an embroidery shop to do something like a Masters logo or the Pingman due to copyright issues. I even called Ping and they don't do the Pingman.

 

I was thinking of just adding my nickname in Masters green. Its just my shortened last name that everyone calls me. Does that sound as tacky? I know many people frown on someone adding their name to a bag unless they are a pro but my nickname doesn't seem the same to me.

Do what you want without worrying about everyone else. If you like it, go for it. I know multiple guys that have their name or their nicknames embroidered on their bags, and lots of them are staff bags. It might not be for me, but why anyone else would care about someone else's golf bag is beyond me.
