"Raw & Rusted Tour" Cobra King 60-degree wedge

If this means the current Trusty Tours are going to be closed out (and thus available for a song), then I'm all for it!

If Cobra offerings their King wedges in Raw and made a set of the King irons in an all MB and raw they would hit a home run.

Great looking wedge but I'll stay with some raw Engage wedges

I was excited when I saw these photos, until I saw this post. Guess it's back to stripping Vokeys. I really wish I liked the Engage wedges.

They might be in my bag if they make all lofts, would love a 52, 56, 60 or possibly a 50, 54, 58 . Heck just buy them all. LOL Cobra

This is my second comment on this thread, but I keep coming back to these wedges and saying to myself why would Cobra not offer a raw version? They are known for a wedge called the "Trusty Rusty". This wedge is great looking and the shape is MUCH improved over older Cobra wedges. Kudos to Cobra for changing up their style of wedge to something that really does look phenomenal

If you want them raw, send them out and have the finish stripped. They don't sell on a mass scale.

Why do people get all whiny over raw wedges? Just because a small segment of the golf industry loves them doesn't mean there is a wide scale market for it. Every wedge thread goes something like this... "Looks great but no raw offerings so no go for me."

I think with Cobra it goes back to having an iconic wedge within the brand called the "trusty rusty". It would be good to have the new King wedge because a new shape and obviously new name but keep the old school rust. I'm currently playing Nike Engage wedges and couldn't be happier. I've playe ls sm5's and liked those alot too. I played MB2's for years which were raw irons so I'll always have a soft spot for raw golf clubs. It's not whiny just preference.

Didn't mean for that to sound like an attack directed towards you... It just seems every iron and wedge thread has several people that love raw club but with the "trusty rusty" moniker it should be a expected I agree 100% there.

My local shop here in the Uk told me they are expecting new Cobra wedges next week but didn't give any details. Hopefully will be these!

Isn't the 588 RTG the best selling wedge model of all-time? I think there are more people willing to buy raw wedges than people think (if it's a good wedge).
