It's my brother-in-law's birthday and he only plays used Pro V1's. He's good but loses balls in the woods. So, understandably, he doesn't see the point in buying new. So I need your help. Where is the best place to buy used Pro V1's?

Yes, golfballsdirect shipping is way better and have found there rating system more accurate and quality control is superior to any of the others. I usually go AAAA.

Lost golf balls is good and sometimes Dr.Mulligans has some good deals. Just know that around half will have logos so just go with the best deal

sometimes you can find used pro v's at play it again sports. I usually check whenever i'm by one and they're only a dollar a ball

It means the balls are refinished, as in repainted. They look brand new but you can get some real clunkers.

I just try to stay away from refinished all together. Had a bad experience, thought I was buying used, but they were in fact refinished. They basically take the bad balls, clean, sand, re-paint and re-clear coat. So you really don't know what your getting. Some like them, but to me they didn't feel or perform the same and durability was very poor.

Plus, you can get legit quality used AAAA for similar pricing. So to me it didn't make sense.

A country club member and his Pro V1 are soon parted. I've found 8 dozen of them in the last few weeks here on the course I live on. They lose them like they are nothing.

Ned, this is a bit off topic, but after a round I occasionally will go look for golf balls. Last year I found 62 dozen ProV1's and ProV1x's. Not only will you save a few dollars, but you get some more exercise as well. :-)

I've ordered from GolfBallNut before and have been quite satisfied.

However, I just went to their website this morning to check some prices and they are quoting 29.99 for mint 2016 pro v's. WTH! I've never seen their prices that high before.

Hard to beat Play It Again Sets if you're thorough. Not to mention B330s, Tour Preferred, etc for 50¢ a ball

I was always hesitant about buying used balls but have purchased through them a few times and very happy.

I usually buy 2 dozen AAAA/AAAAA at a time, there might be 3 or 4 questionable balls.

Only ever purchased from golfballsdirect.com and they have been wonderful. Fast ship, great sales and honest grading. I don't purchase from them since I became superstitious. Now I only play new cheap balls.
