Watched a few highlights from Phil's round. I appeared the OG 3deep is gone. This was definitely a gloss black head. He hit it on 13 and 18. Anyone have an idea about what it is?

He also appeared to have a new hybrid in the bag. At least it looked like he hit a hybrid from the rough on 9. Strange because he still had an apex utility in the bag. Interesting if we could see a new witb just a week later.

I saw a shot he hit out of the rough last Sunday with the 3-wood on 15 I believe and I saw the sole very clearly. It is definitely the 816 GBB Alpha. Those two weights on the sole are a dead giveaway. I was surprised when GolfWRX said he had a X2 Hot 3-wood when it was so obvious. There seems to be some mystery with Phil and his metal woods. Not sure why.

I think theres mystery because Phil is to 3 Wood's what KJ Choi is to irons. He tinkers a whole lot, there are a few stead fasts but theres some major tinkering going on there...haha.
