Aaron Baddeley gaming Ping G woods

Looks like this week at WM Open in Phoenix and last week at Torrey, Badds has had the Ping G driver and 3 wood in play.

Saw him hit driver at #17 today (drivable par 4) and could immediately tell by the sound it was a Ping driver. The G 3 wood sets up great address...much more square to the ball than the G30.

He's probably trying a ton of different stuff right now. The stats they showed at the WM in the past few years hes been roughly around 170th from tee to green and then usually in the top 10 in putting. If Bads could even bring it down to say just under 100 from tee to green... he'd be dangerous.

Can't believe he has no hat, bag, club deal at that level?!

Might be his choice for the time being while he's testing some clubs

Changes putters as often as he changes drivers but still putts good. Hopefully he will find a swing and driver that works.

He needs something that launches. He typically hits down so much, having something that'll get up in the air is a big help. As an aside, I don't understand how he hasn't found even a SLIGHTLY better method of delivering the club to the ball. Whether it's just him, or he hasn't found a coach who can get the message across, but wow...He has an obscene amount of talent on and around the greens. If he could just creep into "average" territory in ball striking...

BodiTrak disproved this method. Apparently the founder of Stack and Tilt bought one and found out his method still had a weight shift. Boom no more Stack and Tilt.

All it did was show that feel isn't real. The notion of a centered pivot is still valid.

Hey all: I agree now that Adams golf seems to be done he had to find something although some of the Adams golf staffers switched over to Taylor Made. Guess Taylor made chose to let him go or he just wanted to try something different. Whatever clubs he chooses to use I will always root for this guy. P.S. With his talent can't believe he hasn't won more but then again there are ALLOT of talented guys on tour so winning isn't easy. Thanks

2 top 10's this season, you'd think he is popular enough for someone to sign him, hope so, one of my favourites.

He had a logoless bag and hat at the Farmers. I noticed the driver but couldn't make out the rest.

Didn't he sign a monster deal, 50 million or so, with macgregor at the start of his career ?

He lost his card last year so will only get a few starts maybe this is why he has no deals.

Pretty sure that there are pictures of his clubs on here at a recent event, Adams irons still in his bag. Have to think that that the no hat, bag etc. is his choice despite his recent poor form.

What is the deal with Adams? I hear guys on this site saying they are done, although they still have presence on tour (Ernie Els, David Howell still out there with Adams bags, hats etc. - may be others but those are the two I've seen recently)

Aaron indeed without any deal attachment but still playing the MB2 Tour Chrome irons and Ping woods.

Ernie in Dubai still had the Adams bag but not much Adams in it (Psi irons, M1 driver, etc).

Dosent often change putter but playing for the last few months the Odyssey 7CH putter.

Hope he chooses right and gets a good deal with a big manufacturer.

Hie needs a good driver that gets him on the fairway as often as Ricky Fowler does. Big swing speed players.

It's a "Space for Rent" sign. I believe Tom Kite played with a blank visor/hat in the 80's while contending in tournaments. He signed a new deal very soon after.

Im pretty sure he is hitting a ping 3 wood and Exotics EX9 5 wood, I don't know any other club with a wavy bottom and I saw him for sure hit it on TV....paused it and went back...it was for sure an Exotics EX9

One thing is for sure. OEMs should be wary of signing this guy - seems he has the kiss of death!
