Ordered the miura's from a Japanese golf shop through global rakuten. The store was one2one. Ordered the clubs with less off set, thinner top line, y cut sole, and nickel satin finish.

Pictures when you get them!!!! Did you do the copper underlay?

Any of you Miura mentalists on here ever finally get confirmed what the crack was with the old TM 300's? Just picked up a set and only the 5 iron has a serial number, this looks man marked for sure, as some of the numbers aren't all in line with each other, looks like they have been engraved with a dremel. SLightly off topic I know, but Muira honeypot here

I wound up with a set of Leham's, by fluke, and they were stamped TL2MM.

At the time, there were sets of Lehman Protos going around AND sets of 2mm Protos. I always kicked myself after selling them because I always felt I had something REALLY rare; a Hybrid of the Lehman AND 2mm.

Did you get a custom grind done or are these stock?

What did you end up shafting your 57s with?

    I went with Nippon 130-S

Is it very heavy? The 130-s?

Spec was 47 degree PW but I customized the lofts in the set, starting with a 27 degree 5 iron to get to a 45 degree PW and 49 degree "GW".

    27

    30

    33

    37

    41

    45

    49

They don't actually make a GW in that set, but I like my GW to match the set so I had them bend one PW 2 degrees strong, bend another 2 degrees weak and then customize the bounces to keep them reasonable.

I'm going to assume I have the only CB 1008 GW in the world until I see another one!

Has anyone tried DG TI S-400s in the 1008s? How about Oban CT-115s?

Just bought a set of heads, and have a set of TIs, but really curious about the Obans. Have been playing Modus 120s (s) for a while.

Haven't played the cb57s. But comparing to the cb501s, there is no comparison. Cb1008 is more forgiving in every aspect.

Don't wanna sound stupid here but this model is actually from Miura giken. It's the Japan domestic model of Miura. CB57 n cb501 are both Miura.

Cont. with the don't want to seem stupid theme...so are CB1008 made in Japan? Guess a little confused about Miura Giken vs Miura

I just got my first set of Miura's in December. Really love these and can see myself being a life long Miura player. So insanely consistent and the feel is like no other iron I've ever hit.

I got fit into P760's this fall but I was hesitant still on getting fliers because they are just so hot with ball speed. The Miura are about a club shorter than the 760's but I have yet to see any fliers and I'm incredibly comfortable hitting them out of the rough.

Think Miura is done with the CB-1008. The satin heads are sold out & when my fitter called Miura to try and order said no plans for more. Now closing out Black heads seems like end of 1008's.

Think I saw they are being replaced by the 301. Seems to me there was room for both in the product line, but guess Miura doesn’t feel the same.

Thankyou. One of my favorite things about the 1008's is the way the shape of the long and mid irons continues into the short irons. Usually after the 7 iron iron sets get so rounded and even spoony but with this set the profile stays the same and the high toe is still ground nice and sharp. Looks so clean IMO.
