JB had to withdrawal with a shoulder injury. Hopefully he'll be healthy enough to play the Masters next week. Must be a tough decision as defending champ.

I swear, Johnson Wagner could miss every cut coming in to the Houston Open and still manage a top five somehow. Guy loves this tourney!

I really wish they had Shot Tracker set up on the 18th tee. Would be a really cool look for that particular hole to see what lines the guys choose.

it was very interesting watching player practice on the range this afternoon, Jonathan Vegas flip his club over and hitting it left handed for about 10 minutes, he was hitting it fat, topping it...I've never see player does that on the range. KJ was there for a good two hours just going thru every club in the bag, I love watching players on the range, the trajectory, shot shape and distance is not what I'm familiar to...haha. :)

Depends if you hit a cut or draw. Left side of the fairway bunkers and cut it back, or right side of fairway bunkers for a draw player.

Stenson prepping hard for Masters. He's hit four drivers out of seven tee shots, I think, and hit the fairway with all of them I believe. Putting atrocious as well and that's not good for the Masers.

I watched both of those guys on the range in New Orleans last year. If you knew nothing about them and just watched their ball flight on the range, you would think that Vegas was a top 10 player and KJ was a 5 handicap. Vegas hits a beautiful ball, and KJ hits what appears to be a borderline wipe, compared to other pros. But he knows exactly where it is going every time.

What's up with Phil's eye? Just seen a glimpse of it there now but didn't get a good look..

It's really gusty today. Sustained breeze not terrible really but some really very large, frequent gusts.

Amazing watching those guys hit their long irons into that 230 yard par 3 like it's nothin.

Tees were moved really far up today on that 230 yard par 3 hole 9. I was there for a number of tee shots. Guy working there said it was measuring 190 today but it was against the wind

Thats still impressive. I dont think they want the players openly bitching about a hole like the 240 yard par 3 at merion and they tipped it out sat sun.

Check out jim herman. Looks like he has been workin hard for years, got to web.com and got the the big tour a few years ago. Hasnt done too bad past couple of years.

Spieth needs to just relax. Almost throwing the club after a less than stellar shot on 16 isn't helping. Yes, last year was amazing, but things won't always go perfect.

He's definitely putting some pressure on himself. Hopefully, he'll go low tomorrow and pick up some momentum heading into Augusta.

Tomorrow's round will be interesting. I think there is a 64 out there, and it would be cool to see Rickie or Phil shoot it. You just know Stenson and DJ will do anything to come up just a tick short.

Perhaps this is finally Jamie Lovemark's week. A victory right before the Masters would be huge, and would really send him on his way.
