You have turned Pro now where do you Live?

Obviously weather, taxes, golf facilities and family are concerns but where would you make your primary residence? Would you jump on the Jupiter bandwagon? Lot of pros to that. Great winter weather, tons of other tour pros to play/hang with at top notch facilities. Do you choose the old school favorite in Orlando, lots of great golf compounds there (isleworth, lake nona). Do you choose a more wholesome location with decent weather such as Sea Island? Scottsdale with all its tour pros and great clubs like whisper rock? Accept the high taxes and choose southern California? Colder more erratic weather but somewhere in texas? Or do you live in a cold weather spot, maybe your hometown or wifes hometown like Jason Day in Columbus Ohio?

I would live on the gulf coast of florida

Stay in ohio live on murfield and have a home in sea island or in Arizona somewhere

I'd get a place down next to my Sis in Isleworth and when I was off Tour in the winter, Fla, and during the season, the Burgh-

Also, this was my Parent's home from 1976-1994-

I would buy it back, irregardless of the price-

Naples for six months and a day, near the water in RI the rest of the year.

Right here, Scottsdale AZ.

Great airport, cheap cost of living, great golf year round, and the west coast swing is all within a car ride of my home.

Florida is gonna be water world in a decade. So I'll take ocean front property in Georgia.

Absolutely gorgeous. WOW.

Houston. Love Texas. Play year round. Easy to fly anywhere.

If you just turned pro, you don't fly private yet. Traveling is a big burden.

FL for sure. Summer's suck, but I'd be traveling most of the time.

Probably where I live now. Probably a bigger and nicer house though. A tour pro lives a few miles from me, went to school with his wife. I can think of worse places to live.

If successful on Tour, it would probably be Jupiter Island, Florida during the Winter months and maybe one of the communities near the the Greenbriar, (West Virginia), during the Summer months.

After the good players witnessed my game they'd probably chip in to buy my house so I'd have to move and not inflict my #*)$_@ -up swing on their little slice of the golfing world.

That Albany in the Bahamas looks nice...

Winter in the Bahamas and rest of the year I would build a house on the lake right here in upstate sc. ..... Not too huge either. Would have a lot of outdoor space , but I don't crave a huge 50 room house.

Absolutely gorgeous. WOW.

I'll never forget that when my Mother told me that they were selling it, I cried, and I was 34yo, lol

They raised four of us in it and my Sis had just graduated from college and took a job in Fla so it was just my parents so while we all were sad, we understood.

I still drive by it a few times a year(well, now Maddie drives me by, haha)

And life goes on :)

Edit: one such memory-

1977, I was 17yo and my BFF Dave was spending the night and there was a great party that evening and my parents were out of town so we weren't allowed to go to the party. Well, my dad had this OR nurse fm the hospital stay with us for the week and she was like a friggin drill Sargent, lol. So we tied a bunch of sheets together and were gonna shimmy down the wall as that second story window on the right was my BR-

We tied em to the bed post and Dave, who went 160-165, got down no probs but I, at 210-215, obviously put too much stress on it as I heard this cracking noise like wood breaking and then a pretty loud snap and next thing I knew I was laying back down in that ivy and myrtle, lmao. It knocked the wind out of me.

Then Sargent Ratchet opens the front door and I see this rifle barrel and she chirps, "who's out there identify yourself," lmao. Well, Dave was standing so the gun, my father's 30/30, was leveled at him and he just blurted out, "Jesus Christ," and she said, "don't lie to me, who are you."

I'd gotten to my knees and said it was me and so she let us in and of course told my dad who have me his patented "indefinite grounding.," lol

That's another reason that I went away to middle and HS, cuz if I'd have lived home, jeez, I'd still be grounded ;)

I would build my mansion on sweedish swimsuit model island. Where all of the women look like Heidi Klum and make awesome sandwiches.

Toronto probably, flights everywhere and if I was making money I might actually be able to afford a house near the city

I'd probably live in Vegas. Relatively inexpensive, good year-round weather, entertainment on the Strip, pacific timezone.

Two houses.Coastal North or South Carolina and Asheville,NC.

I'd either live where I live now or where I grew up, NorCal or NC.

There is only one state in the USA that is worth living in ... California. I was fortunate enough to have been born and raised in California, and I would never leave. If I had a lot of dough I would live in either Palos Verdes Estates, Malibu or Monterey.
