MT was nice enough to build me a couple identical backups with my custom grinds!! Don't know what I'll do when these are worn out, but hopefully I can buy whatever he's building next

Been awhile since last update and won a couple am series tourneys in the last couple weeks (one two-man best ball, one individual) so I figured now was a good time to update:

    2016:

    Vapor Fly Pro driver

    Vapor Speed (Japan) 3 wood

    915 18* hybrid

    Vapor Fly Pro 3 iron

    714 ap2 4-pw

    Oven Engage 50,56

    Custom Oven 006

    2017:

    Vapor Flex 440

    Tour issue Aeroburner 3 wood

3,4 iron TMB with AMT X100

5-pw 714 ap2 X100 --going on 4 years with these things!! Still a great fit for me

    Oven Engage 50,56

    Custom Oven 006

Currently working on getting a 2017 M1 driver as it beat out the Epic sub zero in a fitting recently and I'm itching to try a new driver. Also looking to get a M1 3 hybrid to fill a gap, and have been trying a 60* wedge

    New toys!

'17 M1 10.5 Tour driver with Hzrdus black 6.5, but currently have an AD BB 6x in it. Different sound than I'm used to coming from the Flex 440, but enjoying the driver. Not sure it's any longer but is a little more forgiving.

'17 M1 19* with Kuro -- hybrid is far and away the best hybrid I've ever hit. No left in it, just high and straight shots and a really solid feeling club. This will be in the bag for a long time

DJ spider-- no complaints at all. Sits square, very easy to line up, and speed has been good. Felt a little hollow at first but I got used to it after the first round. Not gonna knock my 006 out but will switch it out when I want a change.

Nice update - how do you find the TMB 5 iron plays compared to the AP2? I've just shafted up an identical TMB to yours to in my bag, hoping for a bit higher launch.

Is that the deep face 3 wood with a paint break?

I would love to hit the 4i higher than the AP2, was thinking a shaft change to a graphite OR a TMB maybe

Thank you! 5 iron is definitely more forgiving than the ap2. I thought that was the best split for me between tmb and ap2 after trying both because the groove high miss still goes the same distance for me. Misses just aren’t as punishing and the long irons will fly higher than ap2. Let me know if you find the same results!

And yes it is the deep face 3 wood with paint break (I’ll try to remember to get a face picture up here soon) but I’m not sure that it’s really any deeper than the standard tour issue. I have both and measured the faces and they were the same. Definitely appears deeper because the face is smaller though

Definitely a higher flight with the TMB no question. That was one of my reasons for it as my previous ap2 were 4-pw and just didn’t get what I wanted with the ap2 4 iron. They are just so easy to launch in the long irons

Only 2 new clubs this year! M5 driver and M4 3 wood. M5 is the best driver I’ve ever had and was an easy choice after trying all of this year’s models. Will be on the lookout for a m6 3 wood this winter as well
