Beginner's set for my wife?

My wife wants to follow me golfing. She hasnt played before but I'm looking to get her a cheapish used set.

Can folks here recommend a decent forgiving set akin to the Ping Gs I started on that won't break the bank in case she gives up after a couple of rounds?

With your wife who may or may not like the game I think you should go get a used set of cheap clubs or some WalMart Boxed set.

My girlfriend wanted to do same thing. Play every now and then. Found a set of cleveland hi bore hybrid irons at a pawn shop for $150. From driver to bag. Might be one of the best buys to date for me. Extremely easy to flight these irons and very forgiving. They give a beginner a lot of confidence standing over the ball since they are hybrids. Good quality set for the beginner. Good luck and can be some quality time for you and the wife if she enjoys it. We play together when we take out of town trips and it's been a good thing for us.
