What set knocked your Rocketbladez irons out of your bag?

I've had my current set of Rocketbladez for a couple years now, but I'm curious if there is another set out there worth switching to. The Rocketbladez seem to have the perfect mix of forgiveness, distance, and workability. I tried the D200s for a few weeks last summer and they were long and strait, but not very workable. Just curious what other sets some of you have moved on to.

This was like 2/3 years ago but JPX 825 non pro. The TM clubs were like +1" and like 3 or 4 degrees strong as standard specs, and they sounded horrible with that loud crack. The Mizunos were just as forgiving and quieter, and played closer to a non jacked up iron in terms of length and loft.

Highly recommend as an SGI that will wean you back into the realm of what normal lofts should be.

Hated the Rocketbladez tours. Pretty much the worst iron I've ever played, went back to something closest to the 2009 tour preferred irons.,...ended on the 2014 mc and love them.

Still one of my favorite sets of irons, my g25 irons knocked them out of the bag. Still play a round here and there with them but the only issue I had with them is the short iron gapping. Could hit them a mile , did not need 3 wood with these just played 3-pw .

Still love my RBladez. I’ve been looking at some G400’s, but my RBladez have given me no trouble. I’m just a ho for new and shiny things

Rocketbladez tour w kbs stiff is still my backup set. With kbs 120 stiff I like the traditional lofts and for a non forged club they feel great. Waiting on some 765 Srixon irons to arrive and see if they replace my Mc 2014 gamers however the rocketbladez tour are really good. I like the semi traditional lofts and they work well for me it’s a set I can truly say I won’t get rid of

Played the Rocketbladez Tour for two seasons and switched to the RSi TP, which I still have in the bag.

Exactly my progression - played RBldz Tour for a few seasons, then decided I wanted something with a little softer feel and went to the RSi-TPs. I actually liked the "face slots", helped me with alignment and added some forgiveness on my normal toey miss, they just never had that great feel I was looking for. This fall I stumbled onto a set of P770s for a great price and decided to take the plunge (for what I got them for I figured even if they weren't for me I could easily resell for at least what I have in them). only got in about 2 months or so with the 770s before winter fully set in, but they won't be going anywhere for a while! HDCP dropped about 2 strokes in those 2 months and they really forgiving. Now the RSi-TPs are in the backup bag.

OP, don't be afraid to look at some "New Old Stock" clubs - great deals to be had, especially since everyone is rolling out new stuff for 2019 - prices are/will be dropping on perfectly good sets from previous models.

Had a set of R-Bladz Tour in the bag, then ordered a set of Mizuno 900 Forged last fall.

What a mistake. The Mizuno's came in crazy out of spec. The 5-6 & 7 were all within 1.5 degrees of loft. 5=28.5*, 6=29*, & the 7=30*. After bending them to the correct lofts, they played like Donkey Doo. Switched into a set of TEE EXi's for last year, and now have Srixon Z585's.

R-Bladz were a good consistent iron. Not long, but precise.

Nothing has knocked mine out of the bag yet. I'm currently working with a set of Tour Preferred CBs and it's still up in the air. Slight edge still currently goes to the Rocketbladez Tours for me. They just work well for me.

Update: After going through Tour preferred CBs, RSI TPs, RSI2s, and P770s. P790s finally knocked my Rocketbladez Tours out of the bag.
