New from Cleveland: CG12 DSG

It was never a matter of IF Cleveland would combine the vastly versatile Dynamic Sole Grind with the agilely aggressive Zip Grooves, but a matter of when (this sentence brought to you by Alliteration.). The new CG12 DSG will sport the RTG+ (light oil can) finish and will be available in lofts ranging from 52° to 64° in early February along with the new expanded lineup of Cleveland products.

If these things catch on like I think they will, I expect to see more open tee times from players concussing themselves while practicing flop shots with the 64°. Once again we see Cleveland taking care of the lefties...as the CG12 DSG is only available to us in lofts up to 60°. :)

When the rep told me that the DSG was going to be an RTG, I became excited. They look sweet. Can't wait to give them a try.

i've seen a 56° in person and they look amazing. might be the best wedge released this year.

Its available in a 64* TOO.

Ive been looking for a good 64* since my old 588 wore down.

If they made this in Black Pearl, I'd be all over it. I'm looking to replace my wedges, and while I like the new Callaway X Forged, they're not available in exactly the loft/bounce configurations I'm looking for (as a lefty). Cleveland always treats us well, and I'm grateful for that... just not sure I'm down with the raw look.

Great...And I just ordered new CG12's with Projects X's to replace my worn ones...Oh well, I gues I'll be ordering these too...

I might have to try one of the 64s.... I would rather a Satin finish on them rather than the Light Oil Can, but still looking forward to giving it a try at the very least.

Any word if a stain or black pearl finish is planned for release?

Replacing my current 60* right now! (Normal DSG RTG)

Think there is enough text stamped all over it?... CG12, ZIP GROOVES, DSG, RTG+, CLEVELAND, CG LOGO, and 56*... too much man.

I was thinking of getting this but then i ended up purchasing the vokey. I may still go this rout but i dont care for the rtg finish. How much do you guys think it would cost me to send a vokey to kwok? Or, I could just have him purchase a vokey spin mill for me and put the grind on it and then send it to me. I probably wont do what i just said and just buy a spin milled but who knows. i'm stupid.

You and me both!

I got such a good deal on the 588's that it was too good to pass up (all 3 for $AU200, brand new in wrapping) and I've only played about 10 rounds with them.

I wonder how much these will go for... and if I can justify swapping... hm...!

Titleist better hurry the hell up and get some sort of SM with a grind out... or these are going to be contenders.

They look great - might be the best cast retail grinded wedge with sharp grooves on the market currently

I just bought the CG12 60* and Callaway X-forged 60* on order!!!! Damn that looks so sweet!!! Oh well....guess have to try those 2 wedges first and see how they perform. Might have to demo one of those

The great thing about being a wedge whore is they are not too expensive. Those look sweet, although I do prefer the Satin color to the RTG. The DSG design is awesome, surprised more companies havn't copied it yet.

Smart move. Makes my custom grind raw CG12 worth a bit less though :P

How'd you do it? Post pics.

Got the raw wedge from a cleveland rep. Put it on the grinder myself for a bit more versatility. It'll be replaced enxt season by something scratch.

im gonna guess that if any other finish is released it will be chrome like the current DSG wedges.. however you can always copy me and do your own DSG grind on a black pearl cg12

Just out of curiosity whats the point/advantage of 'coking' your wedges? Are there certain finished which are better to coke? Sorry for the ignorance...
