Clicgear Model 5

On their Facebook page Clicgear has a message for a Model 5 coming soon...

Anybody has any info on it ?

LOL. That was my same thought. I scurried to their website hoping for a look. Not sure why I am looking as I have the 3.0 and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

On the Facebook page of Clicgear (in the comments):

Clicgear The Model 5 is going to be more versatile than the Model 3.5+. We wanted to make it possible to customise the M5 to a level not possible on any other product. This would include customisation of the saddles for stand, cart and tour bags.

And:

Clicgear It will be better, but no confirmed ship dates yet and not anytime soon. It's a huge project.

I was thinking about replacing my 8.0 with a 3.5+, but I may have to wait to see how the 5.0 stacks up.

After 2 seasons, I've grown tired of the 8.0's shortcomings. It's hard to unfold/fold, and the angle of the clubs blocks access to the storage net. Also, the design makes it difficult to attach a decent sized storage bag on the back for a jacket, and the brake is extremely difficult to engage/disengage. Lastly, pushing 4 wheels through wet rough is a chore. I'm hoping a 3 wheeler would have less friction.

Edit: Oh, what the heck. Patience has never been my forte. 'Just pulled the triggered and ordered a 3.5+ in white for $204. If the 5.0 is better, I'll pick it up when it comes out.
