Fujikura 757

Recommended Posts

This is the shaft that ALL other shafts are measured against. Check the numbers at TOUR events and this still seems to be the #1 model shaft.

I remember the first time I hit this shaft--It was perfect! The kick was lively, it responded very well, and the drive was down the middle.

When you know exactly what you want, Fuji is the way to go. There are others that perform just as well but try getting it set up right the first time. Fuji is just the way to go.

When I started playing half decent golf I was very obsessed with distance and the heaviest shaft I had tried had just about 70g.

When I switched to the 757 I needed some time to adjust, but now I love it. I feel like I can really bomb it and still control the ball so much, thats just fantastic.....

Do not intend to give that Driver away in the next 2-3 hundred years!

Went to my fitter who is a friend I have known for a decade now so he let me take a Diamana, Speeder and NT (Nano Technology) shaft to the range before buying. I hit the Diamana as high as my stock NVS with similar carry. The NT wasn't bad but I hit the longest drives to date with the Speeder. Trajectory was lower and just right for me and yet the ball still carried further than anything I have hit to date. My FT-3 is getting a 757 installed as I type this. Can't wait to go back to the range for a good driver session in a day or two. Very impressed by this shaft.

I love the 757 Speeder...it remains the standard of excellence by which all other premium driver/3-wood shafts are judged. It is extremely consistent and reliable, (i.e, does not vary from shaft to shaft).

The 757 fits me perfectly in Stiff Flex and I like mine tipped 1/2" for TM Drivers and 3-woods..

In fact, its the ONLY driver shaft I will use!

Looks like I found the right group. I'm seeking a Speeder 757 pullout for testing purposes for my 983K and want to run a few things by everyone

I have a moderate/quick tempo, (7/10) at 108 mph 44" length. S400 flex usually does the job nicely without getting too boardy.

Head: 983K proto 9.5*

does anyone have any suggestions on how many inches I should tip an S flex 757 in a borethrough 983k to achieve my desired flex/tempo (if at all?). Any suggestions?

If you have a titleist 757 pullout sitting around that will fit these specs and you're willing to sell, please e-mail me at [email protected].

Thank you!

Joel

I don't get why people say this shaft is boardy. I played today and it really feels lively to me, and I could easily feel it load and unload. I really like this shaft, and it is my 1st foray into exotic shafts. I was fit and tried a ton of shafts in various drivers (Diamana, NV, NVS, etc), and this was my favorite. I truly believe this shaft has noticeably improved my driving accuracy and distance. Previous model was a 983K with a Grafalloy Prolite S flex. Now I play an R5 dual N 9.5*. I give this shaft a 10.

I try lots shafts and he still the best shat for me...

The old one with the old graphics.I think it was better than the retail TM one or the new tourspecs...

BUT,but... you have to find the best tipping for you.All depend the hosel depth and the weight of the head...

With the right tipping the 757 have a GREAT kick, but onley when you load well,

Dan.

Couldn't agree with you more. I was playing a 757 (in an R510 tp) and loved it until I got some back problems that forced me to smooth out my swing...then it felt board-ish. So IMHO the advantage of this stick is primarily geared to the high load swing player.

Back's all better now, and I miss my 757.

Best Golf shaft I have ever owned... Now the bad news, Fujikura was a horrendous warranty policy and will not budge off there high horse to help out the poor stiffs that want to own there product. Here is my story, my wife bought me a FT-3 with the fuji 757 fro X-mas. The clerk at golfsmith told her it was the best driver they had in a 10* draw bias. Last week I hit a wounded quail drive and it just sounded weird, upon further inspection I found a crack running straight up the shaft on the lower portion of the shaft. I took it back to Golfsmith... they were very helpful but could not help me. One, the club was like new... not new. Two the 757 shaft is an aftermarket shaft so Callaway and Golfsmith are non compliant on the warranty. They called Fuji and Fuji relates that since I did not purchase this shaft and do not know who installed it so they are non compliant with their warranty. Expensive lesson learned...if you want this shaft you must buy it brand new from an authorized fuji dealer and that dealer must install it in the club. Last if you sell said club the next guy is out of warranty, the $250. dollar shaft is worth nothing if it is cracked or rendered broken. So much for standing up for their product.

Warning to all if the club you want has a Fuji shaft in it and the club is not brand new, you have no warranty
