Need opinions on SAM putter results

Hey Guys,

I had my first SAM putter fitting last month. I summarized the results below by putter model that I tried. My current putter is a Mizuno C01 (typical anser style). I feel like my session wasn't necessarily a true fitting, it was more lets' try putters I like and see how I score. Overall, I think I was pretty similar with different models. I know I definitely need more loft on the putter since I deloft. I have been measured as slight arc by Ping. You can see my putter path goes to the right but I have a closing rotation.

Without seeing these numbers summarized, I felt like the kuchar was the best option. Now looking at the summary numbers, I wonder if I would be better off with more toe hang, or maybe more weight? What I liked about the Kuchar was that is heavier than my current putter.

looking at your numbers i'd actually have you go with the futura X7M- but add .25" to the length. will get those marks closer to center. your face is square with the scotty -- not so with the kuchar.

Thanks for the input. That reminds me I forgot to mention I was playing with 34" putters, and thought that is what I needed, but found out I was standing over the ball too much. I am 6'1" with shoes so when I went back to 35", I seemed to be at a better position with the ball.

yea, depending on your arm length and preferred stance, at 6'1", a 34" could be short for you. glad you're getting fit -- whatever you choose to get - stroke it well

Aside from specific putter tried, what type of putter would be best for me (slight arc, straight, or strong arc)?

How did the SAM instructor answer your question?

If you could call him that, he liked the Kuchar model the best for how regarding face rotation, the putter was square at impact. But it was just based on putters I tried, I don't feel like he was truly trying to find the putter to fit my stroke, but more try a bunch of putters and let's see how they do.'

thanks for input! I see what you mean. I went back and demo'd the Golo 6, Kuchar, and some others. I was putting really well with the Golo 6. It is sort of a mid mallet with very slight toe hang. I also liked the Ping Ketsch Mid slight arc putter, too. But then I was also putting with the Ping Anser 2 (although I have mostly used this model while golfing).
