Looks like a Japan issue TM Rossa Itsy Bitsy short slant that has been stripped and blasted matte, or possibly refinished in gray, with a topline sightline added. See attached pic as original.

I really wish they would release this type in retail. I really dislike the look of the single bend shaft. I would love a plumbers neck or some kind of hosel going in to the head with a straight shaft.

The Ghost Spider S Slant was almost a dead ringer for the Japan Itsy Bitsy slant. There was also a US plumbers neck version.

The guy used to be on tour at some point as a TM staffer, maybe thats how he got it. Its extremely soft, like mushy almost, love the feel, I may get it refinished. just not matte red ........ LOL

Ah yes... That is true. The plumbers and slant neck options appear to be for a slight arc stroke. I was hoping they would have one with a plumbers neck that was fully face balanced. And without the crazy alignment lines. That would be sweet.

Torrey would know, except I have a Japan Itsy Bitsy and the slant shaft does not look like that.

I also have a Ghost Spider S Slant, and Torrey is correct, it has the same slant shaft that the Japan Itsy Bitsy has.

Would like to see more pics, particularly a bottom pic.

Very interesting!! As a lover of TM slant shaft putters I'm very intrigued

I am not much of an expert on Spider's but I would think DawnPatrol is on the right track. The flow neck looks totally different from retail. The single line is also different than retail. Reminds of what JRose did with his version of JDay proto.

OP could you post a picture of the insert and sole?

Edit: The more I look at test the insert seems a little different than retail.

Well, it was a fun putter, but its on its way to White03, glad to add to his collection of slants, had to keep the golo in for at least another few rounds hahaha
