I came, I saw, I left...

So I bit the bullet. After like 15 years with my trusty odyssey two ball I entered the world of Scotty Cameron. Bought a sweet little Circa 62 on BST. Cleaned it up real nice too. Well best I could. Just didn't fall in love with it. It was fine. Like it putted ok for me. Missed a lot of shorter putts than I normally do. Holed some longer putts. But overall the experience didn't do enough for me to really want to go back into the land of Scotties.

So the bottom line is, you like one putter better than the other.

And...........we needed to know this, why? :huh:

Is this just a unique way to start, yet another, Cameron-bashing thread?? ;)

Those are really different head shapes

I'd either give it more time, or stick to the head shape you're used to

Cameron makes mallets too for what it's worth

I had Chipotle today for lunch. I prefer Qdoba though... Don't get me wrong, Chipotle isn't bad and makes a fine burrito, but Qdoba just seems to hit the spot for me a little more.

im sorry... i dont know what a Qdoba is ... around my neck of the woods the kings of tacos are tacodog and Willy taco.... and our chipotle is like an uptown taco bell..... no thanks ..lol

I will come clean... I lied in my previous post, I didn't really have Chipotle today, I hate Chipotle. Was more or less just stating an opinion on things I like and things that I don't like. Again clearly the point of the thread...

Qdoba is amazing though, if you ever see one, go.

I bought a old MGBR Anser and lead taped it and putted well. Ordered a milled 0 Anser and coulda putted better with a turd on a stick. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Sometimes it's hard to bead that inner club hoe off. That said I own four three woods. I am a hoe

I like Coke better than Pepsi. I used to only drink Pepsi, but now it seem too sweet and I prefer the taste of Coke.

Moral of the story here: don't just try something just becuase of hype, "friends" recommendation, what you read etc. Instead you have determine if a "milled" putter (what Scotys are) are right for you. For example milled putters provide more feel, less forgiveness, generally heavier, different sound and more expensive. If these things don't appeal to you then you won't like / or be successful with Scotty putters.

Queso burrito from Qdoba is out of this world.

Oh yeah, some putters are good and some are bad. Carry on.

We have Qdoba where I live but no chipotle. Love the queso at Qdoba.

Was out of town once and decided to try chipotle for the first time bc friends had said how great it is. Was placing my order and said "can I get some queso on that please?" The gal looked at me really strangely and said we don't have queso here. So I responded with, no queso? Sorry this is my first time. Why in the world does anyone eat here? The look on her face was priceless. I got no response from her ?

Oh and just find the putter you like. What brand is irrelevant. Use the one that make putts.
