In case there is interest on the K-Sig timeline from when the various K-Sigs were released.
Time to update the K-Sig ball release information for those interested. This list covers the OG K-Sig, the 3 piece ball and the new 4 piece ball that has been on the USGA/R&A conforming list for a long time.

its been too quiet on the Costco front....need some golf balls news
the new K4 with fixed cover...i did really like that ball
Anyone ever figure out what was in the pallet marked "putters" at that one Costco? I would've climbed up there and opened a box myself!!!
I thought I heard that they figured out that was a scam.
You need to revisit the thread. Stock number and I think some locations from someone claiming to be a Costco employe. Posted this week.
The putter was purchased from Chinese factory and QC was done after K4 fiasco and it was deemed not ready to sell.
I picked up two packs of the three-piece balls today. I’ve never hit them but they are so cheap I figure they can be good practice balls if nothing else.
Has anyone played the new three-piece balls?
has there been a new release?
3piece has been around for years.
I picked up a couple dozen over the winter. MN courses aren't open yet, so nothing to report.
The priority is TP..shorter evaluation time with the USGA.
Well one thing that has come out of the COVID19 [email protected]! show is my local Costco today had an entire full pallet of the Kirkland balls so I picked some up......tried em out this evening just chipping and putting but have to say love the feel so far.....
No new release. Same 3 piece. It's simply new to @EvolX
Thought I read the 2020 mode was new. Could be wrong, though.
Thanks for clarifying.
anyone still playing the New K4, even with the cover ripping? Its ashame , I really liked that ball, redo the cover, and you have a great ball. I thought it was a really nicce excpet for cover of course.
I still play them, haven't had a cover rip yet, and it's a great ball. Seems pretty close to the OG 4 piece, maybe a tad shorter, but I haven't put enough rounds in with it to say for sure yet.
I bought 4 dozen and then got a total refund and was told by Costco to keep the balls.
I've used 3 dozen with zero issues. Math says I have a dozen left.
Love them, wish I would have purchased lots more.
I’ve played several of them. They seem to lack the height I get on the original 4 piece, of which I still have a couple of dozen. I see no reason for this, and will play a couple more.
As to the covers, I find them easier to scuff than the original 4 piece, but have had no problems with cutting. I’m coming to the conclusion that the problems are mostly with higher handicap players who top the ball, as I just have seen no cuts at all.
I don’t know about the last part of your statement. A good chip with my wedge cut mine. A buddy of mine cut his on his first wedge from 125ish. He has floated between 0-1
From the April 2020 USGA Conforming ball list. Another K-Sig 3 piece ball with a different side stamp. << Performance +>> Same number of dimples as the current 3 piece K-Sig. Discuss!
Maybe the same ball with a different stamp? I presume the new stamp costs incrementally less money because it contains fewer characters, and Costco is all about saving money.

Down to my last 2 dozen of the original 4 piece. Such a good ball. Going to miss it when they're gone... But hey, tis life.
Costco neat me is loaded with the 3 piece. I really do wonder if they'll actually try to come out with another premium ball one day.
Highly unlikely it is the same ball.
I would bet money you are right. I just find it odd that Costco would use the same name for a new ball.
🤔Get ready. Changes have been made. You might enjoy
There's a new version of the Pro V1 every year. My guess this is something similar...just a small tweak to the existing ball.
First, Titleist balls are on a 2 year product cycle. Although submissions to the USGA’s conforming ball list expire after 12 months so they often resubmit the same stamp for retesting.
There are a couple of reasons the same ball would be resubmitted with a different stamp: 1) proactive safety or reaction to the previous stamp failing a conformance test so that tour players still have support (this happened to the TaylorMade TP Red LDP a decade ago) or 2) cosmetic change due to player feedback when it comes time to resubmit (highly unlikely). #1 definitely does not apply to Costco’s situation so this new stamp likely is a different ball (and it will be welcomed with open arms if they find a way to reduce the spin).
they had a good ball....but bad cover
