I love my FG Tour V4's, no rush to jump to the V6. Overall a beautiful iron, not a fan of the HUGE V6 logo though.

Through stores yes. But I do know Wilson does a lot of demo days in the Chicagoland area, my brother does them occasionally. Unfortunately they get overshadowed by the bigger brands most of the time and get little interest from attendees. If/when I get tired of my XTD Forged the Wilson FGTour Vwhatever will likely be my next set.

They don't get the word out very well. The only time I've ever seen a Wilson demo was at the golf expo. I'd love to give a set a go.

They do look nice; looks like the main technology is strategically located tungsten weighting.

Haven't purchased a set of irons in a long time......maybe 8 years or so. I guess $999 is about average now??

Lol. $999 is actually on the low end for a forged iron set. Other OEMs are in the $1200- $1300 range

Best looking set of FG Tours yet, in my opinion at least. Very interesting use of the different tungsten positions.

I prefer a solid inline six but the right v6 can sounds alright as well. These look sharp. An improvement on the v4 id say.
  • avragavrag Members Posts: 5,204 ✭✭
Nice. They might knock the V2s out of my bag.
I see a gap. There definitely is a gap.

My V4's are some of the best irons I have owned and I have had just about everything. If these V6s are only slight improvement it'll be a major feet. They do look great. The bottom will drop out on the V4 pricing for sure now. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great player's CB.

Wilson (Staff) is such an iconic name in golf equipment. It's one of those companies you (I) hope prosper. 2017 is looking like a strong year in terms of better players' irons.
