Cart straps on stand bags, anyone use them?

Looking at Sun Mountain and Ping stand bags. One of the selling points is the cart strap sleeve to better secure a stand bag on the back of a cart than looping it through the handle. I've heard a couple people had less than favorable experiences with them on Sun Mountain bags (the sleeve is lower than the cart strap height). Curious if anyone had any other brand specific personal experience to share.

Sun Mountain worked great on a previous Three 5 I had. Main advantage was that the cart strap didn't block access to the large pocket and valuables pocket when using the 'strap tunnel'.

I use it on the C-130, which is a bit of a hybrid stand/cart bag. It's a little low, but helps prevent twisting and makes things a bit more secure when you hit big bumps at speed.

I have the ping hoofer with the cart strap. It works awesome when I'm the driver, not great when I'm the passenger.

I have the Sun Mountain Four 5 and I love it. When I have to ride the cart strap works perfectly. I just picked up a Bag Boy Quad XL so we will see how that goes. Great bag either way its used.

You don't need to buy a new bag, just upgrade your current bag by protecting everything in it by keeping your bag from moving on all axis. . I agree on the bagbolt. I have used it on both a stand and cart bag and it really does work great.

I have a SM 4.5. I walk most rounds, but always use the cart strap tunnel to attach to a cart when riding. Allows me to secure the bag and have the side of the bag available - towels, pockets, etc.
