    Stand, 4-way. My grips always get stuck in 14-way dividers. Also-ask yourself...WWOTMD ?... Old Tom Morris would NEVER have used 14-way dividers ! image/swoon.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':swoon:' />

I prefer the 4 way divider. The 14 way just doesn't suit my eye. I like a little bag chatter on my irons too.

Interesting... on another poll stand bags outnumber cart bags 2 to 1?

At first, I THOUGHT I preferred a 14-way BUT after using my SM 5.5 for a few weeks now, I love the 4-way as long as it has a large opening. It doesn't sound like much, but grabbing a club and putting it back in is noticeably faster now than when I had a 14-way (SM Four 5).

No experience with either, but I've been using a 10-way stand band for the past 12 years or so. I need to replace it, but I don't think 10-way is a very common bag divider style.

Driver, 4-wood, 3 hybrid in top slot. Then my 4-PW have their own slots. Putter has it's own slot. And my 52º and 56º share a slot.

It actually gives me a little anxiety and headache trying to figure out what I'm going to do with any other style. I think I'd much rather go up to a 14 slot over going to less than 10.

Hated 14 way. Too much clanking and chatter when walking or driving. Too much time searching for that clubs own spot. I prefer 6 or 7 but 4 is all sun mountain does unless you go to a smaller bag than a 3.5.

This... I currently have a 3.5 and I am getting tired of the 4 way, not to mention it is a sloppy fit on my ClicGear 3.5+, I never carry. But the 4 way is killing me... I love the 6 or 7 way, I think those make the most sense, then would have to be a 14 way. If anyone is looking for a 3.5 and wants to trade something a little bigger, let me know...

I had a Ping 14-way cart bag which I liked and since getting new Titleist clubs I went with a 4-way stand bag. I have to say I'm not a fan of the clubs getting tangled up. As soon as the 2017 Titleist Deluxe Cart bag are available I'm picking one up.

I always toy with the idea of going back to a 4 or 6 way bag but like someone else mentioned, once you go 14 way, it's hard to go back. I absolutely love the newer sun mountain c-130s stand bag. It is just about a perfect bag. I never get grip tangle with it which is a huge pet peeve of mine.

Always had 4-way and bought a hoofer 14 way. Worst bag decision ever. Can't slide clubs in easily and in some slots literally have to toy with it to make it work. Going back to 4-way and will never use 14....

Got the Nike Air Hybrid Carry or whatever.

14-way. Absolutely perfect. Can't imagine ever using anything less than this now. No idea how clubs wouldn't be easy to slide in and out, when they have their own specific slot.

I have a 6 way stand bag but I just throw extra clubs in it now. My OCD won't allow for anything less than 14 dividers.

I'm in the minority as well. Tried a 14 way cart one time and no way. 4 way Cart for me all the way. I think it's more organized when I start and find clubs everywhere in it after the round. I love chatter in the bag. I like carrying around a Big Bag...Seems they have much more storage as well. I think they are nice looking as well. Traditionalist here. Won a 4 way walking bag once and used it for awhile but looked really puny on the cart. My bag has 3 dividers what I call a 6-way. I prefer a Silver and Black or Silver and Blue cart bag as well. I try and always drive the cart as well.

I have had a c130 bag and I love the fact that my clubs don't tangle. I ride 2/3rds of the time (Wednesday afternoons and Saturday morning. And I use a power cart (bat-caddy) on sundays for walking. I have the ping dlx cart bag and it works well with the 14 way top plus putter well. But I hate the tangled butt ends. I added the tubes for the irons and wedges and it works ok. I may go to a two bag system. The C130 may be the permanent bag for the bat Caddy. As the way the bag is held makes the tubes kinda slant in the bag. My OCD kicks in. But then it will bother me not having a ping bag. Yeah I know I'm messed up in the head. May just have to get another bag. A ping DLX II. Then have the current bag permanently in the power cart. That way I can just swap the clubs and go.

But I'm sure this will set off some other quirk I have that I may or may not know about. #sadpanda

I ride so I prefer the 14 way cart bag. Sometimes the grips hang up for no apparent reason but it's something I can live with. BTW, I use the Sun Mountain C130.

I agree 100%, I had a ping hoofer 14 and it was terrible for getting clubs stuck. I went to a callaway hyper lite 5 with 7 dividers and it's much easier to grab clubs and put them back.

Got to say I'm surprised that the staff type bag with 4 way dividers is so low. Guess times have changed.

    Agreed.

But then again, I've noticed 4-way staff bags with large bulbous rain hoods are more popular with certain demographics.

Si' I'm definitely in that demographic. Had an old Red/white Wilson staff back in the 90's I loved but wore out after about 10 years. Found a nice Blue/Silver Mitsubishi Rayon staff used for 60.00 and couldn't be happier...just a dinasour I guess. My beauty Attached.

Cart with 14, as I don't walk or go to range.

14 keeps me organized better and easy to identify if club missing or left behind.

I am buying a new bag (SM 4.5LS) and can't decide between the 14 way or 4 way. I just can't seem to get a good setup on my current 4 way SM 3.5. Mostly because of my putter. Then again if I get the 14 way, the putter will still likely protrude and block other clubs. I may go with a 4 way with an external clip for the putter. Anyone use an external putter clip they'd recommend?

Amazed at the popularity of SM and Ogio bags. I hear SM makes a lot (if not most) of the bags for other OEMs. Regardless, and I know it's silly, but I always preferred bags branded by Ping, or Titleist, or Callaway, etc. Just an OCD thing for me, I guess.

I prefer stand bags to cart bags.

I prefer 5 or 6 to 4, all are better than 14 in a stand bag.

I do not mind 14 in a cart bag, but it is not a deal breaker by any means.

    Yep, thanks for confirming.

Made me think of another question: " Does anyone else prefer to have the logo on their bag to match at least one of items in it?" Driver, woods, hybrids, irons, wedges, putter, ball, towel, tees, divot tool, you name it!

Come to think of it, I like it best when the bag matches the driver.
