He was harping on about a world tour 20 years ago, maybe now it will happen

I'm not interested as long as they don't mess with the 4 majors

He's going to parlay his success with Fox Golfinto a Verizon Shark Golf. An international tour where he calls play by play and all 54 hole tournaments end on Saturday. Everyone will

have to buy into it, because he's the Shark and he used to be good, dammit, real good.

Gary Player will run marketing and course set up.

Quite the marketing ploy but I'm having a hard time imagining anything Norman could do that would shatter anything. Tours are already getting more intertwined every year, playing, equipment rules and governing bodies in general are already established.

He's a good follow on Instagram, though, if you want to see a guy who flexes in every single picture.

WGCs in part due to Norman. He wanted a world tour and hasn't gotten credit for what Finchem et al. came up with to head him off and probably resents it a little (a lot).

Whatever it is is born out of his massive ego so I'm predicting train wreck.

Whatever it is won't get him invited to the Champions Dinnner at The Masters. Sorry Greg.

Yep, Finchem hated the idea, then it became his idea, then it became reality.....Business 101.....

He had a lot to do with golfers, both male and female, getting into the wine biz. Some of his blends are actually good.

Maybe he's going to make a new golf ball marketed by Costco called the Kirkland Shark.

You think he was dosing on some of his tasty shiraz when he said,

"In the middle second quarter of next year, I'll invite you guys down to my office. We will tell you exactly how we're going to break this cast iron that's been wrapped around golf for so long. We're going to shatter it. The institutions (USGA, R&A, PGA of America, PGA Tour) will eventually buy into it because they will have to buy into it. They won't have a choice," Norman told reporters"

There was a time when people did stuff and afterwards others would comment on how much ahead of its time it was - now it is just hype, hype, hype.

Whatever, I guess he is bored and needs to crank up the expectations a few notches - business must be slow.

I've been sitting here for close to an hour racking my brain(be nice, it's the friggin Holiday Season, lol) and even perused my thesaurus app and all to no avail.

Norman was, is and forever shall be...

A Dick~

I would buy a bottle of Michael's cologne before I would order a bottle of his wine. I don't care what Wine Spectator says.

It's mid-December, a slow news cycle and his ego has cabin fever bad-

As much as he's accomplished business wise, and while I cannot stand the man, he has been extremely successful, I shudder to think what he could have accomplished if he was actually likable....:

Probably close to what he could have accomplished if he didn't gag away majors on a golf course.

Oh well, such is life.

I'm in debt up to my eye balls and worth more dead than alive and he's jetting around the world starting new ventures....

Maybe I'm the Dick?

Maybe, but he definitely is :)

Stay well My Friends,

RP

I can verify this. I am on staff at Costco, forklift operator; been working feverishly over the holiday season, but I have noticed my load-chart keeps taking me straight to Sporting Goods and golf balls.

This past week or so I have stocked a ton of Kirkland Great White balls, (urethane) and Kirkland Moby balls (surlyn).

Not sure which performs better, though my guess is the Moby is a little harder ideally. Both arrived via helicopter, if that helps.

Calling Norman a Dick is an insult to all the Dicks in the world. Norman is a World Class A hole...........He sets the bar so high your normal, run of the mill, Dick can't even see it!

Let me help you with this one!....When I first moved to Orlando I lived in Bay Hill for 2 years. At the time several horses hung out there. Norman, Price, Frost, Allem, etc.....All 3 were GREAT guys, loved by the members and staff.....Notice I said 3.......Norman was the biggest ****** I had ever seen. I can't say "met", because he acknowledged nobody.....I mean nobody!!.......Except the other Tour guys and Arnold.......pretty sure I can't say his nickname on here......LOL

Maybe his secret is that he will be entering A Hole's anonymous.

"Hi my name is Greg and I'm an A hole. But really being an A hole is the best kind of hole. It's the first. It's one better than a B hole".

I first encounter him at the old Kemper open at Congressional CC. He walked by everyone with an aragence you could smell.

You are right DMaC!!

I have promised Madison that I would dial back my rhetoric regarding both Norman and Couples, lol

Though I believe that there is a loophole in that promise whereby I can cheer you guys on when you rip either one, lmao.

I may not be an A-Hole, but I am a Dick, LMAO :)

And Thank You Hawk, you're a True Gentleman!!

My Best,

Richard
