Nothing like a little cash/image infusion to help a company that is struggling fiscally. I wouldn't be surprised if this is true, but would wonder if there are any other known investors involved.

He wouldn't be promoting his product very well, in playing and endorsing a BStone ball, were he to buy a piece that is.

Elementary my good man. Tiger wasn't making any money owning stock with Nike clubs, so he convinced them to ditch that losing effort, freeing him up to buy into clubs that weren't inferior.
