Saw this in the PGA show demo day thread. Anyone have any guesses on pricing. Very cool concept.

I mean, it can't be more than a golf cart like clic gear right?? I hope (crossing fingers).

I'm curious, as well, to see the price point.

I think if they could put this in-between the 300-500 range they would get good sales, under $300 its a no brainer.

It's been 5 days since it was previewed at a trade show... might be a little longer before there's anything concrete.

Im very interested in this and plan to follow this thread to get some more info.

In for the follow.....Really hope its under $200 anything over that probably wont make sense.

If the battery and motor are both inside there it's either a miracle of miniaturization or it's going to have serious limitations.

FWIW a lithium battery for normal electric trolleys costs well over $100...

I'm guessing $500ish, and I respectfully think it does make sense. The antiquated battery carts are $800 and up, if I can get a clicgear (which I already have) that is motorized for the same, it's worth it.

Why would you think that? Look at those "hover boards" or any of Segways new products? Except in this case you don't need any gyro's or counter-weighting, electronic balance assist, steering controls, even wheels. Just a battery and a drive train.

It looks like they have a website. But it hasn't been updated and their last product was a hybrid, cart/bag combo. I think this one will do a bit better.

I'm definitely interested in this too but company doesn't have much info. If this product has potentials I would PR this like hell. But the company doesn't seem to be ready so I'm being skeptical a bit.

I would pay up to $400 for this if it can go 36holes on one charge.

That was the impression that I got. But other than that little blurb and one picture from the front page I've yet to see any information anywhere about this thing.

Yep. Saw this on Facebook as well. I watched the video of the PGA tour merch show presentation, and I thought I heard the guy say $600-$700 retail..........

If their price point is $600-700 , I think they may have misjudged their market. Why would anyone spend more for a retrofit transaxle instead of less for a standalone power cart. There are a ton of models for $400-600. I would think they would need to be in the $300-400 range to get any traction. I could be wrong.

Here's a video of it at Demo Day--not sure how it works with a normal clicgear, but interesting (it's the first product shown).

Rovic bundle seems very cheap.

Suggested Retail of $599 it a bit steep in my opinion. But, we'll see what happens. The bundle package is sweet deal!

Price is a lot. There's the early kick starter price for $399 + $35 shipping. I'd love to commit but worried it'll have issues. This would be great for Bethpage Black! Is anyone buying early? The $399 is over in a few hours. Looks so promising but that price, good lord.

Damn. I just funded the project / kickstarter. Figured $434 is a good investment to help my legs and back and game. Since they have a working model and hopefully out by Sept so I can utilize it for fall golf. :) Will let you guys know what happens. Excited actually.

I committed early as well. Im not sure you will see too many problems. There aren't too many things to break. Sure, you have a battery pack and two motors, and a remote, but, Im willing to bet that this thing holds its own. Im just excited to use my own clicgear cart, motorized.
