What State Has Produced The Coolest Golfers

...over the past 100 years?

I'm thinking it's gotta be Texas. Hogan, Nelson, Trevino, Crenshaw/Kite, Jimmy Demaret, Kathie Whitworth, Jackie Burke and his dad, probably others I can't think of.

Any state have a list that deep, with as much combination of cool and wins?

Arizona State. Possibly Florida State.

California has produced Phil, Tiger, Billy Casper, Johnny Miller, Corey Pavin, Mickey Wright, Nancy Lopez, Juli Inkster, Gene Littler, Craig Stadler and Ken Venturi, just to name a few.

Gotta be California. Although, I am a bit biased.

Besides being born in Texas - several others developed their skills in college there - some only briefly - Monte, Faldo, Stewart.

I just figure any place that produces both Hogan and Demaret has the entire spectrum covered of every possible form of Cool, in golf terms at least.

I'm from Texas so I'm very biased. To add to the list, the great state of Texas has also produced Lee Elder (1st African American to play in The Masters), Harvey Penick, Justin Leonard, Patrick Reed and Jordan Spieth.

I like PA with Arnie, but you'd be cold pressed to find a cooler golfer than Freddie Couples. Shout out to the PNW and WA state.

Nelson and Trevino are favorites of mine. However, Pennsylvania wins the cool contest with one. And it's not even close.
