bought my 57s today!
I grew up playing mizunos... stopped playing for about 10 years, started up again, trying pretty much everything out there. titleist, macgregor, TM, Ping, ive ho'd about 15 sets in the past year alone. today my ho'in days may have ended. yesterday i stopped by a local shop just to check it out, the sales guy told me to hit the 57s, he knew i was sold already, but i was rethinking shelling out the cash. he gave me a demo 6 iron and told me to take it to the range and come back the next day. i went out to the range today, and boy was i surprised with the results. the clubs felt amazing, like buttery solid if that makes sense. i went back to the shop right after work and ordered them with PX 6.5. i am on cloud 9, but now i gotta wait for them to come in... anyone have experience with the mp57 it the px?

Congrats! MP-57's are some of the best feeling and best performing irons I have ever layed my hands on. I wouldn't pay much mind to those who claim they don't feel right, I've played every LH Mizuno to come along in recent times, and they feel just fine to me.

The one worry I would have, is I think the PX 6.5 shafts will alter the feel a great bit, making everything a bit harsh......I speak from experience!

I got mine in late November, so I haven't been able to really get a true feel for them but so far, I love them.

I came from an original set of Ping i3 "Blades" with zz-65 shafts.

I always thought the "buttery" feel of Mizunos was nothing more than marketing nonsense, but the 57s do have a great feel at impact, especially when compared to my Pings. I'm not a good enough player to mess with the 32s or 60s, so I can only imagine how those feel.

The one thing I've found, which was surprisng to me, was that I hit the ball much higher with these (PX 6.0) than my Pings - this is a very good thing for me.

Had mine since the first week they came out.............Moved into them after playing the MP60's for nearly 20 months.

For me they are just as soft a feel and half a club longer the flight is strong but high and you can knock them down when needed. The real gain is the miss ht them all over the face and they still fly, great set of sticks that will play all of 2008 !!!!!

You did it again MIZUNO........awesome.

the mp 57 i ordered over 2 weeks ago are coming in tomorrow (ups online tracking). with dynamic golf superlites. my friend bought a set from the local golf shop and when we played golf, i thought they were beautiful... i couldn't stop looking at them. i took a few swings and i was sold.

i used to play the mx-20's, years ago. and it was very good. after a couple of years with them i gave them away, then i bought ben hogan edge cft's, very good irons, looks and performance, got them brand new cheap online. i still like them and will always keep them as back up.

I bought a set of taylorade r7 irons, a couple of months back. hit one of my best rounds ever. par'd the front 9. i've always come close, but to actually do it... the feeling is something i'll always remember. same feeling as breaking 90 for the first time.

the clubs are good but very big and clunky. where as the mizuno mp 57 is sleek, beautiful, elegant and refined.

its like pontiac compared to a ferarri.

i'm really anxious to get them. ball flies high... so i don't need a high spinning ball to keep it on the greens. and i can use less club because i can use a distance ball.

i'll add a review after a few rounds......

tick tock.... tick tock.... can't wait till tomorrow..............

I've been very happy with regular Rifles for quite a while, and the 5.5s (R+) have been my flex. I tried the MP-57s with the PX in a 5.5 and found the feel harsh. But when I moved down to a 5.0--which is what many posters recommend as the PXs seem to play 1/2 flex stiffer than regular Rifles--the harshness was gone, and the irons felt great.

Hope you will be happy, after honeymoon is over. Tried the MP 57 on range and on course and was disappointed, also with different

shafts. For me the MP 60 would be the better choice- better club with almost the same forgivness. The marketing gag MP 57

are between MP 60 and MX 25 is a joke. The MP 57 have only 7% more forgivness as the MP 60!!!!
