*Quick note on my dual 7i setup . . . The XR Pro 7i has a similar loft to the 6i on the X-forged set, and a little extra help is always appreciated. It has become known as my BIG 7. Same with the 6i XR Pro and the 5i in the X-Forged set.

Solid set up. I was experimenting with a set of Callaway 13 X forged myself and fell in love with them.

Thanks! Yeah, I love my X-Forged . . . Love the face grooves . . . Spoke with Dr. Alan Hocknell about the grooves, and he told me that Callaway hasn't abandoned them, just trying to figure out how they fit into new products. I think he told me Ryo has those grooves in all his irons . . . Don't quote that. . . .

Do u have the loft on the two 7 irons spread out? hows the distance gap?

I haven't tweaked the lofts of the two 7's, but they gap out pretty nicely for me.

My little 7 is 34 degrees, and the big 7 is 31 degree. The 6i that the big 7 replaced was 30 degrees, but the cup face more than makes up for extra degree of loft.

My gap is consistent with all my other irons, only downfall is the Big 7 is much more difficult to control trajectory with.

Good looking setup there. Wish I had more need to fork over the dough to get the Epic, it's truly a great club.
