Miura CB-2008

Just heard Miura is updating the 2000 series with the CB-2008. Anyone have any additional info, release date, or pics?

Tour Spec has a little bit on them. Not a huge fan personally. Picture taken from TSGs website.

I'd say the rapture has started, but if it did, that means my irons would be gone, and I'm not letting go of them and they're facing the end of days with me.

From the words of a wise man in a wonderful movie, which I think might actually be a documentary of a town called Bull Mountain (The movie is called Out Cold): "Don't go changin". That was what I had hoped for Miura, and that has obviously been thrown out the window.

I dislike the look of the CB-2008 you have pictured. The CB-1007 & CB-2007 are still exceptional Irons from the MG line but the North American

offerings like the CB-1957 and others look really strong.

There does seem to be some "warmed" over offerings on TSG from Miura MG

Has anyone hit these yet?

I hit the seven iron a couple times ...

It didn't feel bad, per se... but it didn't compare to my Baby Blades or CB-57's.

I don't prefer the look of the 1008 or 2008 in pictures, but in person they look decent. Not a bad offering, just how do you compare to the Baby Blades or CB-57?

Anyone else have any feedback on the 2008? Thinking about building a few of the long irons to combo with some 1008s.

Would also be interested in anyone's comments on the Miura CB 2008. Not a lot of info/feedback on these out there.

I've played, CB 57, CB 501 from the Miura line so I have an idea of the Miura feel. Currently gaming PING i210's and wondering how the CB 2008 may compare.

Any thoughts, feedback or comments would be appreciated.

I hit the 2008s when comparing a bunch of used miuras.

On the ground, I could really not tell the difference from my normal P770s: top line, size, shape I think someone did a bit of copying.

Only hit into a sim, but the numbers were spot on good feel (P770 is a softer feeling forged club, the 2008 had that Miura solid feel but it was a bit different the CB57, 501 that I also hit that day)

I can't compare against the 210s: never hit but if I had to replace my P770s the 2008s certainly can do that IMHO. I ended up with some 1008s as I was looking for a more blade like/thinner top line club. In my limited time on the sim, I'd say the 2008 was a tad more forgiving on ball speed for off center hits I was producing and that's to be expected. Not tremendous, but a tad.
