Lets see..........I will list those players that I actually got a chance to watch. Just about everybody will list the big names, but I'm kind of a walk to the beat of a different drummer. 1) J Boros - He had such an effortless swing and he played like it was nothing more than a sunday practice round. 2) C Pavin - Little fish in the big pond and held his own. When he played the Cleveland VAS irons, he became the everyday golf guy. 3) L. Trevino - granted a big name, but his game/swing was right out of "we don't need no stinkin lessons". Got to admire the self taught, go for broke attitude. 4) C Stadler - Anybody nick named the Walrus has got to be all right in my book. 5) G Norman - again another big name, but anybody that was shafted as many times as he was by the golf gods, you just have to have pity for. Wonder what he did to piss them off so much...............

I like Ryan Palmer, super nice guy. A couple of years ago at the Byron playing with Jerry Kelly they walked off the tee box on 16 on a windy day, Jerry turned to him and said "nice ball for uphill into the wind", Palmer replied "I need a beer"

Adam Scott is super nice as well, and boy that swing! Love watching him play

I player I used to love watching was Ian Woosnam. He made the swing look so simple, while at the same time Faldo was getting all technical...and winning the majors.

Also, Seve, but I used to hate his golf at first as he never seemed to find a fairway or green in regulation. Then I realised that's what made Seve Seve.

Ok fine. I will admit it's Tiger. Funny thing is I'm probably, probably can cross out that probably, older than most Tiger fans. I was just about 40 when Tiger hit the tour. Had been an avid pga tour fan for about 20 years at the time. When Strange told young Tiger "you'll learn" in that interview when he said second sucked I nodded my head wisely. Then laughed as he backed it up. Only player I have ever seen that had the veteran broadcasters giddy as they saw a player make shots they had never seen before.

Tough one... cannot say any specific guy, but there are some.

When I started playing in scandinavia back in the 80's the PC answer was "Seve" but I really didn't like him that much, even though I saw him live several times. Back then we didn't see much television so we mostly saw our local players. Some, even of you non-scandinavians maybe remember Anders Forsbrand. He was an extremely athletic, energetic and exciting player to watch. Back in those days there were no microphones to catch all the strong language...

in the 90's the answer is quite simple, Boom-Boom Couples. Everything about him was casual, except for the distances of his drives. Definitely my favourite at that time. As a fellow countryman, and being the guy he was (and is) you couldnt help but like the son of one of our more beloved commedians, Bosse Parnevik's son Jesper. Eating volcano sand, pink pants and smoking cigars on the wins.

The years around and after Y2K was all about Tiger. He kind of eclipsed everything. I kind of disliked him for being TOO god. It wasnt exciting, you know that he would win if in lead. But he was the guy ot the time on a level that i suspect only Bobby Jones was. So you just had to like him.

Later years, It's really hard to pick a favourite. So I gonna mention just one guy, that maybe don't have the firepower to really be that celebrated, but who I have followed on-course a pair of times and who I follow on TV. Sören Kjeldsen from our neighbours in the south. He has an extremely pleasant temper for a golf player. Always polite and friendly, but still with a great passion for his shots that is written all over his face pre-shot and post-shot. Nice, strategic game and a great short game. Funny and outgoing, and even speaks his language in a way that I can understand...

Arnold Palmer- he reminds me of my grandfather and you just can't say anything bad about the guy.

Tiger- nobody has made more impact on the growth of the game. And he was really fun to watch for over a decade.

Fred Couples- that swing and swagger (DJ's laid back appearance has nothing on Freddie)

Tiger - no one has played better or been more exciting

Phil - no one, except Tiger, has been more exciting. Plus, I like the way he interacts with the fans.

Trevino - Home made swing. Good story. Fan favorite. Ignoring a number of negatives (true for the two above)

Palmer - duh

Loren Roberts - a local connection

Jack - double duh

Snead - always loved his swing and down home demeanor.

Tiger- Greatness and brought so many to the game that probably would have never had an interest in the game!

Mexi-Mex- Pure control of his game, even though Im an Army guy, he served his country, damn jarhead and his Burning Wedge!

Arnie- Who didn't love that guy?

Charles Sifford- Tenacity, the bull he (and other Black golfers) had to deal with, amazing he didn't wrad a driver around their heads!
