Evnroll vs new Ping sigma with TR

Anyone compare or have comments between Evnroll and Ping sigma line putters? And or comments between tech of Evnroll vs True Roll?

I'm interested in this, too. As best I can tell, both companies are making identical performance claims with respect to off-center strikes.

I think the difference is Evnroll grooves are able to gear the ball back to aim-point on offcenter hits along with distance control, where Ping TR is only distance control on offcenter hits?

You have to go try a Evnroll. I was shopping for a Sigma (I'm a all Ping guy) and the difference is like night and day. The Evnroll really holds its track. Have a ER2 on order.

I just purchased a Sigma G after testing it out multiple times in store. Short answer, I love it. The true roll technology really is great, and all putts maintain their distance. On top of that, it provides a soft feel off the face, which is something I prefer in a putter. I cannot speak on behalf of Evnroll, as there is nowhere to demo them around where I live.

Very interested in this as well - Went to order an evnroll but got cold feet as I havent tried it and only vicarious love here. Ive tried the true roll heavy and LOVE it. If the Evnroll is better then feedback please from those who have tried both

This is a great review and comparison from Not allowed because of spam, but wanted to hear people experiences as well if any.

We just had a new PGA Superstore open up this past weekend and I finally got to try the Evnroll putters. To be brutally honest, I just don't see what all the hype is about. To me, they felt harsh off the face and I didn't notice any "correction" on the roll when I would purposely hit the ball off center. I rolled all kinds of putters while there and the Evnroll's were my least favorite along with the Edel's that they had in the store (I've actually hit a couple Edel's that I liked so it was just the models that this particular store had - which were butt-ugly).

The star of the show (for me) was the Ping Sigma G D66. Absolutely love this putter (I even "kind of" like the grip - and I'm a traditional grip kinda guy) and at the 179.00 price it's a no-brainer. I really wanted to like the Ping Vault Voss but I just didn't think it felt as good as the Sigma G off the face and at 300.00 I had to pass. I didn't care for any of the Scotty's (just don't like the insert he's doing today) and the Odyssey's didn't really do anything for me. I was really hoping there would be some of the Toulon / Odyssey putters there but they didn't have any. I asked about the Mills / Odyssey putters and they knew nothing about them (?).

I ended up ordering a Ping Sigma G D66. I'm a putter HO and this is the first brand new OTR putter that I've purchased since buying a 2013 Cameron Notchback (that I don't care for because of the deep milling). The Ping just really grabbed me and I can't wait to give it a go on the course.

I've had at least 5 Pings with the TR grooves. I'm also a huge Ping fan. I have no idea why it is but to me the Evnroll does a better job of giving a consistent distances no matter where you hit it on the face. Feel (or sound) is so subjective. What one person considers harsh ,another says it's "solid". The Evnroll's do feel a little different but I love it. I don't care for soft "squishy" feeling putters and to me that's what the Sigma's and new Odyssey's feel like.

Wish we had a local store that carried the Evnroll. For that kind of money, I would like to try it before I buy.
