BST is getting like EBay. I sold 6 items this past week and only received 1 feedback. Folks need to understand that the feedback system is very important to the process. Especially for buyers. It instills confidence. I urge you, if you buy OR sell, please leave feedback. Thank you.

In my experience most people just need a friendly reminder PM and then they will leave feedback. It is an easy thing to forget to do, I know I've been guilty of it from time to time.

I've forgotten a couple of times and was glad to get a reminder. I've sent plenty of reminders also. Probably works about 50% of the time.

And I'd guess that 50% is a pretty good estimate for the number of transactions I've done that have had feedback left. Does that number sound about right for others?

I agree... and not just because I was the only one to leave you feedback (excellent seller, btw!). It take less than one minute to leave a rating.

A lot of people only use the app on the phone or tablet to get on here. There is no way to leave feedback on the app.

I've had similar issues with this as well. I always send a reminder if it's been a few days since they've received the package. I think the biggest problem is you can't do it from the app, and that's probably what most people use now days.

Don't be surprised if you don't get what you want if you are unwilling to ask for it. Feedback, sex, deals, etc. There's a right way and a wrong way to ask for each of those things, but if you're counting on people to act in YOUR best interest without your active participation, it will be a lifetime of disappointment.

I wish there was an option to delete feedback, for when I leave it and the other party doesn't. I do send a polite pm and ask the other folks to please leave feedback.

From a buyers standpoint, I only access the site from my phone and leaving feedback is not an option. I rarely touch a computer outside of work and feel like the site should update the site to be able to check and leave feedback from mobile devices...unless I am missing something?

Sorry. I don't mean to offend and certainly don't want to start a war of words but using an Ap is no excuse. It is I credibly easy to go to a computer and leave feedback. As for the reminder, if you do someone a favor do you call and ask for a "thank you" ? Just like in real life, there are unspoken rules people should behave by and not have to be reminded..

Just remind them, it probably slipped their mind. In fact, I just left feedback for 2 itens I bought a few months ago!

Just send them a little reminder. Tell them you were kind enough to leave them feedback you would appreciate they do the same for you.

I work in retail. The % of customers who leave feedback is miniscule. Unless their service was really good or really bad. Part of the problem is we can't "encourage" customers to fill out the survey anymore so most people don't even think about it. I agree with the others who said send a reminder. Most online businesses will send you an email a couple of days or weeks after your item has arrived asking for feedback. The other day I went on got an email from Amazon asking for feedback. When I logged onto my account I saw all the stuff I recently ordered that I hadn't given feedback for yet. I know product feedback is different but it's still the same idea.

Does anyone really make a buying decision based on whether a guy has 8 feedback or 56? Really? I get if a guy has 0 or 1. Maybe 2. But who cares if a guys feedback is 5 or 50?

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I know how important feedback is. I remember when I had zero and got frozen out of a deal because i didnt have any feedback. That being said, sometimes life gets busy and people forget. I know that I have forgotten to leave feedback. I also know that plenty of people have forgotten to leave me feedback. I always appreciate a reminder if i forget. And back when i had less feedback I would send reminders about leaving me feedback. If they didn't do it after a reminder then i just let it go.

Am I the only one that doesn't care about feedback? My feedback score is probably 30% of the total deals I've done on this site, and I really could not care less.
