need a cheap ball

TKingTKing Members Posts: 1,477
With flight characteristics like my game ball-Pro V1 for a practice range. Can't afford 50 dozen Pro v1s and putting feel doesn't matter at all since it's just for an iron practice range.

Thanks for suggestions,

Not sure if they are making them this year but the Pinnacle Exception is all I played last year and I was amazed at how long and soft they were. Very cheap too! Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Top Flite D2 Feel. Soft for the price, lacks a bit of spin around the green but overall soft feel compared to most cheap balls. Great off putter as well. Straight and long off driver.

They have also come out with an upgrade to the Top Flite Gamer, cover is even softer. Haven't tried it outdoors yet. I will be switching my gamer to Top Flite this year as I'm done paying $50 a dozen!

Range balls? Try the Pinnacle Exceptions but get them used at Knetgolf or lostgolfballs. 2nd quality will cost about $4 per dozen.

Top FLite D2 feel is a surprisingly good ball for the price. I like the Wilson ZIp better but its not in my local Wal-mart yet. Both good balls IMO for the price.

another vote for the Top Flite D2 feel...real cheap and yet real good. I can get this ball to stop on a dime with my Chikara wedge.

They may have taken them off the site but I know they have them, I ordered a bunch the other day. I ordered them over the phone so just call and tell them what you're looking for and you can order them over the phone.

Thanks a lot again. I have been using a bag of 500 used mixed balls but it's time to narrow it down to a consistant ball. I'm hitting them at marked target yardages-not just pounding them out there.

Oh, yes, I would love to say play, but this will be my second season and I want a ball to play through the whole year. I got a bad feeling i lose two dozen before the end of may.

I vote for the Nike Power Distance Soft... darn good ball. IMO better than the D2 Feel.

Agree with Roughneck. The NIKE Power Distance Soft, is the best cheap ball out there.
