At the top of the evening broadcast of the Masters, he says that Hoffman shot 65 and is four shots ahead. What????? Why would you say that? I don't follow online so I can see everything fresh and you say that? AND then we get to see his round? Sometimes these guys just need to STFU.

Probably because its called a recap of the first round. It's the evening broadcast, means the round already happened. If you'd like to join us in the year 2017 I suppose you DVR. Saves a S*** ton of headaches. Good luck with today's round.

I don't understand people who can ignore 10 hours of the greatest golf tournament of the year just to feel like they are watching it fresh at night.

If you can't figure it out, I am not going to explain it to you.

I can figure it out, I just think its silly.

The DVR suggestion is probably your best bet. Along with generally ignoring all mediums of media or talking to anyone that likes golf until you can get home.

DVR may be what you are looking for. There are many people who don't have 6 hours to watch the nightly replay and who just want to tune in to see what the result was and see some highlights.

Actually, it is really more of the events that happened from the start of the afternoon broadcast, the only highlights you see are the ones from before the afternoon broadcast started.

DVR all the time.

Didn't think you would understand.

LOL...getting mad at an anchor. That's like getting mad at him for when they show too much putting. The producers tell him how to open/structure the show. He just fills in the gaps.

What exactly is OP hoping to achieve here? Or is SVP a secret member/lurker? (This actually would not surprise me...)

Actually I don't like Van Pelt because he has better hair than me.
