The DVR suggestion is probably your best bet. Along with generally ignoring all mediums of media or talking to anyone that likes golf until you can get home.

DVR may be what you are looking for. There are many people who don't have 6 hours to watch the nightly replay and who just want to tune in to see what the result was and see some highlights.

Typically I hate spoilers, but I liked knowing that Hoffman was -7 because I started watching and he was like -1 after 9, so I knew there was something awesome coming.

I can never watch anything delayed or on dvr... I am a sports texter and I must have ruined countless sports broadcasts for my friends because now I get a series of texts saying don't text me about ( insert sporting event)...

People who watch live sports on delay and then get mad about hearing results should be sent to gitmo. They should be joined with people who call in rules violations and people who like pineapple on pizza

I'm with you OP... I work weird hours and often watch at night when I can... DVR, if not an option, mute? Maybe start watching 15 min. in to miss the review?
