Masters and Callaway GBB Epic

Wondering if someone smarter/more diligent than me can tell me who the highest positioned player gaming the GBB Epic is after R3. I'm totally familiar with over the top golf company marketing but I've found the Epic hype as over the top as anything TM has ever done.

I believe Pieters is playing the XR 16 this week and I honestly didn't see another Callaway wood player in the top 15. Is it Rory at E? How many guys do they even have in the top 25? I just found it interesting that none of their guys are really even in the mix on Sunday.

It's a legitimate question. I have no opinion on the club or Callaway. I was looking at the leaderboard and just noticed a huge lack of Callaway which seemed odd.

So your deductive reasoning is because in this particular tournament on this particular day the best players in the world at the top are using other equipment so the Epic must be not be any good?

Their staff isn't as highly ranked as you might expect. There's definitely some very good players, and you could say Stenson and Patrick Reed didn't play well at Augusta

But other than those guys their top staffers are Mickelson and Rory (not a staffer but uses the Epic as you say) who are doing OK

Your making your own assumptions. I never said the Epic isn't any good. I hit it on a simulator a few times and it was great. I'm sure I'd be more than happy to game it if I had one. Seems like you're taking this rather personal.

Thanks. Definitely makes sense. Their big guns are basically Stenson, Reed, Phil and Rory (not a staffer but playing it). Throw in some young guys like Berger and Grillo. You're definitely right...I was surprised at the lack of size for their staff roster
