Wedge shafts and weighting

I am looking to buy some cleveland rtx 3.0 wedges. Currently I have titleist sm6's with dg 200's in them and they don't have the best feel and also feel like there is a loss of distance in them. I recently ordered srixon z745 irons with KBS c-taper lite's in them. I have a driver swing speed just over 100 mph. Carry the 7 iron around 160-165.

I am looking at KBS wedge shafts, as well as nippon's. I am unsure of the weight to get potentially get in the nippon's as 105,115, and 125 are available. Kind of thinking something in the 105's or 115's but very unsure.

Looking for opinions on what people think are a good wedge shaft and weight. Do you all typically go higher or lower in weight based on iron shaft weights?

I just bought a mint 48 SM5 to test vs my Mack Daddy 2.

I'm liking the SM5 just as much on Feel.

DGS200 shaft is 117 grams bare, was D3.5 as delivered.

I added 3 grams for a D6.4 and that feels fine to me.

A KBS in 115 to 125 range is likely to help with your swing speed.

What wedges are u considering? (Lofts)

What do you use your wedges for mostly?

I play C Taper S in my irons. My 52 got a C Taper S and my 58 got a kBS 610 S

I am considering rtx 3.0 blades. In 50,54, and 58.

I would put a c-taper lite in the 50*. I play a variety of shots with the 54* and 58* so not sure of what shafts to get in them.

Everyone can be a bit different and everyone needs to find out what works best for them. Some like to use the same weight as in the rest of the iron shafts, some like it a bit heavier, and other's like it a lot heavier.

FWIW, my personal preference is about 10 gm heavier than the weight used in the iron shafts.

Why not go CTL in Gap and then CTL soft stepped once or twice in SW LW?

Do you ever take full swings with the 54 or 58?

Are u a high spin player or low. If high spin I'd recommend the 610 in your 58 if low the hi rev or hi rev 20.

U can do the same in ur 54 but if u use it a lot of full swings and aren't a low spin guy it's a bad combo

For years been using DG-S200 at 127 grams in 58* LW. Its a 80yd club but seldom used over 60yrds. I like its weight, but has a slightly softer tip section, opposed to S300.

Have Project X Flighted 6.0 in SW. It has the right amount of butt stiffness, and the full taper provides a stiff tip and lots of action. I like heavier swing weight in wedges (LW=D9) (SW=D7); both are cut to 35.75", same as PW, and feel similar to iron shafts.

Recently tested KBS Tour V 110 'S' in irons. Tried to like them but couldn't. Also tested KBS 610 wedge shaft in SW; larger, stiffer, butt section and tip; felt too boardy on full shots.
