I was disappointed that many of the newer items have "No Additional Discount" stipulations but I understand

You have to find an item that isn't a current model as many have no additional discounts. Also it appears that clearance items also have the same discount restriction.

I just ordered 2 Ammo Boxes of TP balls, 2-dozen Hex Pros, and a 2-pack of 2016 PGA etched glasses (filler for free shipping). That maximized the discount and came in just $0.47 over the shipping min after discounts. Also had enough reward points for a $25 gift card which brought the ball price down to $12.50/dozen... even though I need 8 dozen more balls about as much as a hole in the head.

I have a Bushnell Tour X and I really like it, but I am tempted to get the Bushnell Tour V4 Slope Patriot Edition for $244 with free overnight shipping. They are selling for over $300 on ebay, so easy to break even if you don't like it.

 

The only difference between the Tour V4 Slope and Tour V4 Shift is that you have to switch the face plate instead of flipping a switch to turn slope on or off. (at least from what I can find online) For 99% of golfers they can just leave the slope face plate on all the time, so it really doesn't matter.

For those prices, get both! Sell some unwanted clubs later to offset the purchase and legitimize it for yourself. That's what I'd do...

Lol, I wish. I could possibly muster one set. I just don't know if I can handle the MB's. But with some recent swing changes in striking the ball well but hitting it too high. Something like this may actually be good for me :) have to justify it somehow!

 

Can anyone speak to rbg's used club ratings? Are they fairly accurate?

 

Edit: I just realized the sale ends in 9 hours. I'd have to sell a couple of shafts in a hurry to generate the revenue. Oh well, probably better off anyhow.

I'm honestly surprised the advertised prices weren't elevated and/or more restrictions put out prior to this sale... high list prices prior to these sales are quite common for RBG. I know when I was waiting for a trade to process and watching the Silencer prices, it jumped up to $250 just before their 15% off promo. $140 is a great deal on that, I paid $180 about 6 weeks ago and the only discount I got was WelcomeBack... luckily it was paid for by profitable trade-ins during the previous 50% trade bonus promo.
