There is another thread running but is seems like it is meant for people going or maybe going there. It too long of a trip for me.

Eagle Point, have not heard of it before. Seems to be a little Pinehust-ish. A lot of par 4's in the woods down the stretch.

Star players would be DJ, Phil, Rahm, Adam Scott and maybe Wesley Bryan

As for my fellow countrymen, I'm interested to see if Alex Noren could find some of that last year form.

Eagle Point is more of a low country golf course than Pinehurst. It is a very manicured golf course with lots of bunkering and trees that while some stand tall, a lot bend over and hang down (like low country golfing). The par 3s on the course are outstanding. The only hole that I don't really care for is 8 at it is a long straight away par 4 that doesn't have much charm to it like the rest of the course does. I LOVE 9 as I think it's the prettiest hole on the course. 10 is the best par 3 to me from a putting standpoint. There are pins on the left side of that green where it is impossible to 2 putt. Can't wait to watch it shine this week as I'm not getting near the traffic trying to go into that place.
