Putter recommedation needed

I need some suggestions for a putter recommendation. My issue is that I have essential tremors or familial tremors. This has my putter on "shaky mode", especially on short putts. Any equipment recommendations that would assist with this? I can't hold the putter still. Then upon seeing it "wiggle" at address get me apprehensive and that makes things worse! Thanks guys!!

I have had something similar happen to me. The putter "wiggling". So, this is what i do. I set the putter back down behind the ball and get it re-aligned. Then I focus on the the shaft band or the end of the grip if the is not a shaft band and then stroke the putt. I do this a few times on the putting green when I warm-up or practicing just so it does not feel so unusual if I need to do it during the round.

For me going left hand low (cross-hand) helped me eliminate the wiggle in my stroke. Now I fell more confident when i'm over a putt and I have been making more putts because of it.

One member at my club has tremors in his hand. He has a unique technique of running his bottom hand up and down the metal part of the shaft before he strokes the ball. Kind of a claw grip (between index finder and thumb web) and times the rhythm before the stroke get stared. He putts lights out btw.

You don't say what you're using now.

Not from experience but theory, what about separating your hands as far apart as you comfortably can handle to help stabilize the putter?

Other thoughts are fatter grips, longer shafts, heavier counter balance putters. What helps me control shorter putts is to grip down on the putter.

Worse/best case maybe a shot of whisky before every round.

Good luck.

If I drink enough bourbon, the tremors do subside..... the bad part is that then I can't hit the ball!!! Thanks for your opinions.

So what you are saying is that taking your focus off the "wiggling" putter head and focusing on the shaft band/end of grip makes you less anxious about it, thus producing a smoother stroke?
