I'm trying to decide between a KK DC 60TX, 70TX and Pro Orange 70TX currently. Both 70 tipped 1" and the 60 is 1.25".

Hit the 60 for the first time today and it feels great. Currently playing D5.5 but easily adjustable with the LTD Pro spaceport (right now about 2 SW worth of cottonballs in it). For some reason I have a big miss right with the KK. The Pro Orange is a little bit easier to hit straight /slight draw, but primarily little fades.

SS is right around 115 with a slightly early release (I think). I suspect my release is why I'm fanning shots to the right with the KK. Both shafts are scary long when hit well and seem to launch/spin very similarly to my eye.

Supposed to play Bethpage Black Wednesday and probably going with the Orange. Both amazing shafts.

I have gamed the KK DC XT for the last couple of years. My entire life, I have hit a right to left draw with the miss being a hook. Since playing this shaft, that has not existed. I don't know what it is about the profile, but it just doesn't hook and the miss is now a push fade. Part of my issue is that because the ball has gone left my entire life, and still does with irons and fairways, I have a major mental obstacle in aiming left and allowing the ball to float back right. The interesting thing is when there is no trouble left and I'm willing to play down the left or even middle, I hit it straight. When there is trouble left, then I aim right but also hit it right. Yes, it's lame. SS is 110-112 with a 44.25" driver and launch spin is great with this shaft. I just have to trust this shot shape more.

There are other threads on this shaft as well which elude to this. It's great in the sense that it can help you take one side of the course out of play.

Yea I'm thinking the shaft just may not work consistently with my release. Time will tell. I've heard the same thing; that it takes the left side pretty much out of play. Only problem for me is, it brings the adjacent holes fairway to the right into play lol. For now, gonna stick with the Pro Orange but definitely will experiment over the winter with both.

I game the 70tx tipped an inch and it’s been money for me. My stock shot is a face and I never could control a draw with a driver but this shaft made the difference for me. I can hit big high draw or a 5 yard draw and still have my go to shot. I love this shaft. I still doesn’t save me from a hook if I get quick but that me and not the shaft.

Trying to identify with 100% certainty which shaft I've got here. It's a Kuro Kage with "Silver Series" near the top third, DC Tini logo just under that closer to the middle , flex is written as " 80 • Flex TX" with the mitsu logo just below that. There is no logo or text near the tip.

I think it's the DC XT but am hoping someone can help me confirm. Thanks

What's the significance of the small xt?

It gets called the “XT” as a comparison to the previous line when it really is just a Kuro Kagè Dual core TX

meaning it's a an XT, just one iteration before they actually started calling it the XT?

It was essentially a proto of the finished kuro kage XD which is a second gen of the XT

Ok so it comes after the XT, but before the XD

As stated, it's a Tour prototype between XT and XD.
