Odyssey Flow Neck #7

Seeing lots of these pop up in the weekly PGA tourney threads/pics. Does anyone know if these flow neck #7's will come to retail? If so, when?

I'm not sure but I hope so.

Who knows but there is always a possibility. Last year they threw some special limited putters for sale..maybe this will be one of them this year

With the success of the Spider, seems it would be wise to piggyback off of the flow next. I really want to see a mini jailbird.....

I'm not sure why they are waiting. Why wouldn't you want to put a dent in TM sales with a slant neck mallet like the #7.

I would buy another one for sure. If they don't come retail, sure it will all be realized in #TheCustomShop

I would be happy with a flow neck two ball lined putter too.

Does anyone remember the Odyssey MARXMAN 224 that Odyssey put out as a special edition about ten years back or less, it had a flow neck. I had one and as always, I sold it.

Spryevo is developing a flow neck that epoxies onto the pre-existing stub on Odyssey putters. I saw the CAD mock up and it looks really sharp. Seems like he will be able to design the flow neck depending on how much offset you want and what kind of balance you want. I've already agreed to purchase one lefty when he starts creating them.

I've seen some #7-styled putters named the Fang which have plumbers necks. So there are some options from Odyssey if what you're after is a bit of toe hang from the #7 design.

Sure does, but short of welding a custom neck on, there aren't many other options on the market. Did you customise that neck yourself or did Odyssey do a small run?

Putter companies seem to be obsessed with the idea that mallets have to be face balanced with a double bend shaft.

Right now I believe he is working to perfect the design and doing alot of testing to make sure it works properly.

Keep us posted on this, I would definitely be interested in one as well. Unless the OEMs wise us and give us what we want. I would assume its a race against the clock because its a matter of time until Odyssey and Scotty release a flow neck mallet.
