Can't imagine what this guy could do to be any more insufferable.

Incoherent, unfunny, mumbling, rambling hack.

Get off my TV.

At first I was pissed that cbs went commercial break, showed 2 shots, commercial break, 2 shots, commercial break but then I realized this kept McCord off the air for 15 minutes.

Imagine Gary at 85. :)

Friends and I had a debate over this during the round. 1 of 8 guys liked him, everyone else was sick of it. His routine wears thin FAST. and CBS kept him while letting Feherty walk!

yep...been able to kind of brush him off for the longest time but today he was really getting to me !! Pretty sad when I would rather listen to the FOX crew and watch the ladies.

About the only thing worse was switching the Champions tour event and listening to Lanny talk about how pretty much every shot the guys hit sucked.

Honestly, I really don't pay that much attention to the bad ones. I kind of expect as much from TV networks.

I do, however, notice and appreciate the good ones. For golf, no one is better than Dougie Donnelly.

I'll go against the grain here and say I like Dotty. She is good and knowledgeable and does not try to hard to be a comedian. I also like Faldo which is hard for most in this forum to swallow. Lastly, Feherty is awesome.

Both do very different jobs but both are very obnoxious respectively. I'll have to stew over this one for a bit.

I like brandel, don't like McCord, so that ones easy.

I have posted several times on Mc-Mouth. He blabs about everything, makes little sense, isn't funny, etc, etc.

As far as Brandel goes, I have no problem, it is his job to comment on what he sees.

He better than any of the bland traditional announcers.

At least McCord tries to add some colour. The euro tour broadcasts have dead air for like 5 minutes, then you can audibly hear the announcers waking up, then casually saying something very polite yet general to suit whatever situation they just missed.

Spotify, hook your phone up to some nice speakers, golf on mute, aaaah.

Agreed. I can't wake up early and watch Euro golf because it just puts me back to sleep. 1/2 of the broadcast seems to be shots of people sleeping in the gallery. What little gallery there usually is.

That being said maybe it's better than the mashed potatoes crowd.
