Golf on Kodi

Just installed 17.3 and the build is titanium supreme builds ( whatever that means...lol)

I see I have an add on named super elite iptv with NBC golf etc on it but none seem to work. Anyone where to find golf on this program?

Do you mind me asking what you're running it on? I'm interested in the Ticbox I keep hearing about.

To answer your question I use the Phoenix add-on to get Golf Channel. I can usually get high def to work pretty well. The NBC golf will sometimes work, sometimes not but seems to stop working about 30 minutes after I get it going. I have the most basic of cable so I'm able to watch that way and then catch golf channel through Phoenix. I'm on a much older build though and a lot of things are starting to fail.

I dont think you have used it lately to watch golf. Phoenix was shut down. A lot of the other popular add-ons as well are going by other names.

last time I watched the golf channel on kodi was via BOB tv (found below)

a lot of add-ons are changing and will continue to change with pressure from the EU and other governments. In most countries, its not illegal to stream this content but it is illegal to run an add-on and new legislation is making it easier to go after the creators.

You can find the Golf Channel through the UK Turks add-on, though it's not legal.

I bought a box from Amazon called Goobang Doo Android 6.0tv box, S905X 64 bit true 4K playing. Just updated it and only tried it once. Such a learning curve just to get figure these out. Hopefully I can get me some golf!

you are correct...pretty sure it is and phoenix is just gone.

I am using the Directv Now streaming service which does not offer CBS. Has anyone found a descent feed for CBS on Kodi ? Watching golf at a fuzzy resolution just does not cut it. F.Y.I. - I have no access to over the air channels.

yeah you can stream live tv easily on kodi and we stream cbs all the time

I finally gave up on Kodi. Wrestled with it for a good eight plus months, but it just does not meet my needs. I'm a long way from being an expert, and it could be user error, but I just could not climb the learning curve fast enough.

The time spent filtering through broken streams, broken links, and streams that work for 30 minutes and then close off meant that if I wanted to sit down and watch something, there'd typically be an hour of frustration followed by my choosing to go do something else -- not the worst outcome in the world, as I'm not a big TV watcher.

I do think Kodi is ok if you are a big movie fan, but I'm not. The only things I really care to watch on TV are college football, F1 racing, soccer, and golf, and frankly there does not seem to be a workable alternative to paying to watch, one way or another.

So far the only golf I found was on maverick. It's sky sports and European golf but it only works for about 30 seconds before it starts to stutter. The quality was good though. I'm stilling at how to get NBC and the golf channel.

Yes. But since after Exodus and Covenant came back after the major takedown, the original developers left the addon and handed on to the other developers. Now those developers take care of the addons and these addons are working very nice. And it is seen that most people enjoy on Exodus Kodi, next is Covenant, third is Poseidon and last Gurzil. Feel free to learn more about the new addons which just came on the market and you will see some more entertainment and fun into it.
