Good gravy, I don’t often swoon over clubs, but these babies are just filthy. These are well suited for a three way with my 750/770 combo set.

Talk about second class citizen. Rors and Rose get nice custom prototype lettering. All DJ gets a crummy stamping (and a lousy job at that looks like they used a sledge hammer) and the supposed retail name..

These look great! I find it interesting though that this year, the 718s, the MP18s and these all have a straight muscle line. If the Apex MBs come to market they will be the exception, but it looks like MB users are going to have some pretty sweet looking options this year.

Yes that is correct, they are all milled from 304 stainless steel.

It might have to do with the fact he is not rushing to bag them right away. There are nothing but big golf tourneys left on the schedule with Bridgestone and the FedEx Playoffs left. Think he is going to smartly play out the season with what his current set then test them after. By that time half of WRX might have a set so no need for Taylormade to "market" these as proto's.

Thats just a guess on my part.

The P790's are scheduled for a September 1 release according to the Rep. He didn't mention the 730's.
