TM Burner TP from 2007. Got the 17.5 last year and it's been a revelation. Tonight I bought the 14.5 off EBay to try that. Maybe it's not a sleeper, just old. The 17.5 has the best dispersion for me on any fairway I have owned and I have had 10 in the last 5 years. Maybe the 75g stiff reax shaft works well for me. Dunno. Great off the deck and tee. Never lose it left(my fault).

07 Burner TP is FAR FAAAAR from a "sleeper". It is however arguably the best fairway wood ever released. At least 5 PGA Pros still use them.

    They are legendary.

I have to totally agree. I have the 4 wood and 7 wood in my bag and they are not planning on leaving anytime soon.

Mizuno MP Titanium. I've got a 3 & 5 with the Fubuki shafts. Love the sound and feel off that hot face. Very compact, the sole design just coasts thru turf. My second fave is also titanium, but much larger head - Taylormade R11ti. Also great sounding & hot face.

Adams tight lies ti. Gets up super easy but not overly shallow faced like previous tight lies for a bit of forgiveness. The titanium face is hot too because they can make it thinner than regular steel and not cave in due to the strength of titanium. The feel off the face is soft and muted too so not typical of titanium heads.

I have a tour edge bazooka 3w that has stood the test of time and beaten off many more illustrious challengers for a spot in the bag. It has a stock grafalloy cheapy shaft, been thinking about putting in a miyazaki kuasala blue I have lying around, but don't want to risk ruining a good thing.

I used to be a Titleist diehard fanboy hitting the 906F3 and F2 forever; but about two years ago I switched to the v-steel 3w and it's nuts how easy it is to hit it straight and consistently long.

TEE CB2 is the longest off the tee for me but cant hit the **** thing off the deck. so V-steel is in the bag right now and i can hit it both off the tee and deck but not as long as the CB2. I just got an S-yard XV today and will test it out this weekend. I'm hoping it'll be my "holy grail" 3 wood to match my T.388 "holy grail" driver

The old Taylormade V-Steel is a super-sleeper in my opinion. No fancy graphics or colors, no dials or sliding weight gadgets, just a properly designed basic looking club that performs very well. Any it doesn't even need a toolkit. How sleepy is that!

Might be the #1 most popular and cult 3 wood of all time. I understand people may have slightly different definitions of what "sleeper" means but, to me this is not a sleeper. If a 10+ year old club still has its on thread on page 1 of this forum it can't be a sleeper.
