It's like a Ping g30 and Titleist D2 had a baby. Cool to see Cleveland back in the mix though.

Hybrid looks nice. I'd have to have that grey line filled in. And this is from someone who doesn't mind turbulators.

So glad to see cleveland back at the iron and wood game! I loved their drivers in the past but this one seems not aimed at me. Too bad since the face is nice and big.

These look fine for what they are I guess.

Are we to assume that Cleveland will now focus on making clubs in the GI category, whilst Srixon will be aimed at better and "aspiring" players?

I'm glad to see them back too. Over the years they've put out some decent equipment, the Quadpro woods, DST hybrids, CG7, Red & yellow, 588 irons, etc

Glad to see the brand return. Makes sense for them to focus on he game improvement catergory while their parent focuses on players clubs. Given that Srixon makes some of the best looking forged irons in golf it'll be interesting to see how the Clevelands shape-up.

Have never played a progressive set like this appears to be, but a 66 I (after back surgery and a knee replacement) I need all the help I can get!

Question: Cleveland doesn't appear on Srixon's website. And these new clubs don't appear on Cleveland's site either. Is Srixon trying to dump Cleveland? Might explain why Cleveland is flushing out their irons again.

First you have to understand they are only going after a specific demographic with this line. And you have to respect their honesty.

“If you’re a TaylorMade or a Callaway, you’re trying to get 30 or 40% market share with your drivers,” says Schielke. “You need to make something that’ll work for every type of golfer. so you put adjustable hosels on them, you put adjustable weights. That works kinda well for everyone, but it’s not optimized for anyone. We’re not making this driver for everyone. We’re making it for people who want to hit it high and straight.”

Adjustable hosels are all kinds of fun, but they aren’t terribly aerodynamic and tend to add mass high and forward - the worst possible location for this driver’s target golfer.

“If you’re a tinkerer or if you like to hit low fades or things like that, this isn’t the driver for you,” says Schielke. “There are a lot of other drivers that will work better for you. But if you just want to hit it high and straight time after time, this performs.”

“Adjustability serves a purpose from some golfers,” adds Brunske. “Ultimately people are going to realize they can get the same or better performance without paying for things they don’t use.”

This is the part I'm interested to hear a better explanation for though.

Hopefully these aren't the usual .350 bore that Cleveland was in love with before. I still have a Classic 290 that can keep up with anything out there today, but I really hate having to shim shafts.

What was the deal with that hosel size?

Just what I've been waiting for...my HB3's are wearing out! And I lost my pitching wedge head cover...seriously!

I hope that I'm wrong since I love Cleveland, but I think this line will be a massive flop.

CBX irons/wedges have me intrigued.

If you've got an M1 in the bag now this line really isn't made for guys like you anyway. It's a total GI line to help hit high and straight.

In a few years, when I turn 70, those Launcher irons are going to look really good behind the ball!

Looks nice and similar to years past. Hopefully they perform the way the old Launcher woods did. Very underrated.

The price point is right. They are smart not to complete w all the $400-500 drivers.
