Ping Karsten Series

For golfers preferring the performance of a steel face with an insert feel, the Ping Karsten Series putter meets the criteria. An elastomer insert in the cavity provides enhanced feel while maintaining the solid response of a steel-faced putter. Weight savings from the new cavity shapes were redistributed to the perimeter to increase each putter's MOI (moment of inertia) for added forgiveness. Multi-level alignment aids are designed into most models.

I just got the Zing. I switched from a Yes! Tracy, which by no means is a bad putter, i just lost my confidence standing over the ball. I am amazed at the distance control and feel i get with this putter and for 90 bucks, what a steal. a very nice looking putter with that classic Zing look and the finish is awesome. no glare, great feel, rolls well. why not get this thing?!?

I have the Anser 2 model. My only problem is inconsistant distance control because it is softer than the BeCu I used last year. I'm going to stick with it all season until next year.

I've had the Cra-Z for a few months now. Never thought I'd buy a mallet putter. Tried it and loved the alignment aids, weight balance and feel very much. More feedback than the more expensive "inserted" putters, yet stiff very soft. I've canned more birdie putts than ever this year! Highly recommended if you like draining putts!

I've been putting with $200-plus putters for as long as I can remember. I equated it with "better" putters. Not true. I demo'd a Ping Karsten Series Anser and found true love!! It's every bit as soft and accurate to me as any of the Camerons I've owned. I even tried it up against Ping's own expensive Redwood model, and I believe the Karsten Series is even softer. It's simple but very effective.

I have the Ping Karsten Anser......I tried many brands of putters and different styles of putters...kept going back to the Karsten....plus the price was a lot nicer than many of the others....but I chose the Karsten based upon performance.....the price is just an added feature !

I had an Odyssey XG9 and lost confidence in my stroke with the half mallet, so I thought I would switch back to the blade. I tried many putters and found myself coming back to the Karsten series Anser. You can't beat the price, and surprisingly, the feel matches that of any higher priced putter I tried. I would recommend to anyone.

Same story here...the Karsten Anser 2 has replaced my XG9. The Anser 2 feels great and is more consistent than the Odyssey. The Karsten series are a great value and feel as good as the high priced putters.

Wanted to go back to a blade type putter so I picked up a Karsten Series Anser 2. The fella I bought it from offered to cut it down to 33" for me and install my favorite grip (Lamkin Deep Etched Paddle) for $39 shipped. It doesn't get much better than that does it?

Well, the putter was bit light so I loaded it up with some lead tape on the flange just behind the cavity and split it as to not cover up the sight line. I don't care too much for the cheesy looking graphics in the cavity, but I can't see it at address anyway. It felt a little unstable before I added weight, but with the lead tape it feels solid and very stable. It has a nice firm feel when contacting the ball. Maybe the added weight directly behind the ball adds to that a bit, I don't know, but I like it.

This is a very competitive putter at any price, but for the price they can be had they are #1 as far as performance per dollar!

Just picked-up a Karsten Anser.

Sticker states the shaft and head are made in the USA and it's assembled here too. :good:

PLUS, you gotta love the sticky Winn AVS grip and stepless True Temper shaft that comes stock.

OUTSTANDING value!

great putter, picked up a b-60 and put some lead tape on that baby and it rolls it pure enough for me. it will be in back for a while. also, i like the new alignment thing they did, with the cavity and line combined, makes it easier to line it up for me.

I just got the anser 2 and it's got such a nice feel for a cast putter. I was really impressed with the price too, it's a great value for this putter. I used to use a g5i tess, and compared to that i find this putter much easier to make a smooth stroke with but anyway, thats beside the point. On a scale of 1-5 this putter is definetely a 5.

I think if the stroke is consistent enough pretty much any putter (some exceptions) will roll it true enough, but I was convinced the 2 ball was the best alignment tool out there. After about 2 or 3 years of putting with a DFX 2 ball i tried out a Karsten Anser 2 and haven't looked back since. It is very easy to stand over and for the money I would take it over any Scotty or Redwood. Very good putter.
