If only you ever played with us. image/busted2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':busted2:' /> image/busted2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':busted2:' /> It's always some excuse. I'm sure there will be some sort of excuse that you won't be able to make the outing.

Has a date and time been set for the TC outing? I'm a fairly new Wrx'er and would love be down to play if there is still room. Thanks.

Hey guys I'm a little late to the party, but I live in Cottage Grove. Being laid off affords me a nice summer of golf it looks like. If anyone wants to get out at anytime let me know. I don't know my exact handicap, but I shoot typically in the high 70's to low 80's. Also would be looking forward to a wrx get together. Be good to get some new golf partners. They really aren't all that easy to find.

Also a little late to the party, but wanted to be a part of this. Sounds like fine. I only play about 5 times a year and play to about a 14 but would enjoy any opportunity to meet people and have a fun day out.

Anybody playing any tourneys coming up? MGA Players' Qualifiers are underway. Mine's Wednesday. Don't have much after that until the 3rd week in June.

I expect to see some great deals on golf this Fall. Playing Superior National & The Wilderness the week of Sept. 5th. Both have Fall green fees under $60.00 a round. For who ever is interested Grand View Lodge's courses will be having some deep discounts this Fall.

Hey ya'll don't forget Braemar has the cities' largest indoor hitting range. Open 8-8 every day, just off of 494 and 169

I'm a Texan, but spend summers in northern MN, playing The Quarry and [email protected] Ridge, The Wilderness and local muni courses.

    Hello fellow 'snotans,

My utter golf withdrawl has me looking at the Minnesota Golf Association website and I did notice that the state Mid-Amateur is at Tanners Brook, a public course. And also at Dellwood Hills, a private course. Just wondering if anyone with some knowledge who's bored would like to ramble on about Dellwood and help a fellow golfer get an advanced scouting report on this establishment as I am unlikely to have access to it ahead of time.

Thanks for your time and wishing an early spring for us all!

I'm ready for spring too. Hit balls for a while at GolfZone in Chan today. Right into the sun, so I didn't see much. Felt good to swing though!

I haven't been there yet myself. I miss demo day there last week. I've been to Country Air out off 94 though. Nothing special but it's nice to see a draw or a fade every once in a while.

They had a demo day? Crap... I missed that too then. Is Country Air open in the winter? Is it in Woodbury?

Yes, Country Air Park is open in the winter and in Woodbury. It isn't bad, you hit in heated stalls off of mats out to a frozen field with yardage markers. Not a bad option, you get one **** of a roll too image/cheesy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cheesy:' />

Didn't like DH. It's more like a muni than a private, to me at least. I guess not a lot to say about it other than that. Not too long but there are about 8 or so holes where you will have to work the ball on the tee. left to right or vice versa. The par 3s aren't incredibly long, just average. All I can really say

LOL -- The new generation. I've always thought of Dellwood Hills as long and tough, but last time I played there I was using a wooden driver with steel X-100, and seemed like I wore out my long irons. image/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Times have sure changed! image/drinks.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':drinks:' />
