***ATTENTION***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***ATTENTION***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***ATTENTION

Last year, in an effort to improve the capability of our forums, we switched to new software. We expected tremendous scalability and rapid customization that would significantly improve each Member's experience across multiple devices and integrate flawlessly with social media platforms.

Unfortunately, after a significant capital expense, we have decided that the length of time and the additional cost to reach our goals make this enterprise untenable.

Thus, we have made the difficult decision to transition the forums to our original software platform. We’re excited that, in the nearly two years since we began the process of our most recent switch, our original platform has been upgraded significantly, and we are confident that the reversion will not only provide the stability that we desperately needed prior to our last move but will also return to the Membership the high level of customization that made our online community so great. We have also added technical resources to the GolfWRX staff that will allow us to build custom modules and modifications that we are confident will take the forums to the next level.

We remain the world's largest online golf community, and we still hold true to our core values and mission statement as written in 2005. Bearing both of those elements in mind, being the best and offering our Members a platform that is world-class are both requirements, not options, and it is that spirit that has motivated this decision.

So, please pardon our mess over the next five days or so while we transition the forums.

A few important notes: Current content will be accessible during that time, but the forums will be READ ONLY, and you will not be able to start new threads or reply to posts. Personal Messaging is enabled but PMs sent/received from the time the board was frozen will not carry over. We know this is inconvenient, and we apologize, and we greatly appreciate GolfWRXers bearing with us through the transition.

We are very excited about starting this next chapter for GolfWRX and getting back to the high-quality Member experience we all expect as soon as possible.

Another update for everyone! Yes, all change again!
Driver- Cobra F9 with HZRDUS Smoke
A huge change from the F8+, Cobra really stepped up the game on this one! Easily longer, even with the same shaft from my F8, but the smoke really works in this club

I then removed the 2 iron (into my spare bag) and put in a Ping G400 22 degree hybrid and a Mizuno CLK 19 degree, lofted down to 17 degrees, much better for my game, so much easier to hit

Then the putter change, probably the biggest upgrade in terms of performance, the new Taylormade Spider X in a copper finish. ****, I did not think they could do it, but this was a massive increase in performance compared to my old Spider! Everyone that has one though should 100% try the Evnroll gravity grip on it, this grip is pure money!

Also big upgrades on the shoes!! Nike shoes 2019 are the real deal! Still loving the Jones bag as well!

    Some changes to the bag;
Now rocking a 2017 M2, kept the same shaft for the moment.
Also changed the Tour Edge out, and got my hands on a filthy long XR pro 14 degree. It's a tank of a three wood, goes for miles!

Also sorted out the golf shoes for winter, got a great deal on buying two pairs
So, all has changed!

After some careful deliberation, the irons have gone! Yep the Cobras has left my bad

Big decision to make, but I just felt I needed more forgiveness

Thus started a big testing month, which put me down to the new Titleist AP2 and the Srixon Z765

I ended up going with a Srixon combo set, with Z565 and Z765

Easily the best decision I have made in my bag, these are the real deal, and I have a lot of people on here to thank for that!

I also ordered the Srixon driving iron, which has replaced the Taylormade UDI

Putter is also out, and I put my old Palombi back in
Great WITB, couple of qu's from a fellow lefty!

How do you find the Srixon 3 iron compares to the UDI? Just upgraded to Srixon Irons but resisted the temptation to get a ZU65, tempting though!
And also the difference between the 2016 M1 vs 2017 M2?

AND I want your Palombi putter!

    Thanks, man!

I have quite the list at the moment! The latest list is;
Byron Morgan 006 Mystic Finish
Byron Morgan 029 X Proto
Betti Baby Bee Camo
Palombi
TP Mills Copper
LaJosi DD201
Kenny Giannini G1
Loads of Xenons! I love Lumpy!

I am about to try some more mallet style putters though. I picked up a cheap Ping Nome to try out, as blade putters just don't have the technology compared to mallets etc.
Hey man

Yeah the UDI was straight out of the bag once the ZU turned up!

The ZU is easier to get up higher, plus I find it more forgiving as well.

Not sure if its just me, but I find it goes further too? Even though I have it in a higher loft?

It could just be the shaft, I was KBS steel shaft in the UDI, whereas in the Srixon I have their stock graphite option and I really like it

As for the M1 2016 vs M2 2017, for me the 2017 is just slightly more forgiving, but it is just a stock gap for the moment whilst I work on my game. The new Mizuno or Cobra F8 will probably be where I move to next. Not all about distance for me, I prefer feel

Sorry for the lack of replies guys!

Had a complete reshuffle in the bag, with only a few survivors!

It now looks like this;

Driver- Cobra F8+ Aldila Rogue Silver (8.5 degrees)
Fairway- Callaway Rogue Sub Zero Project X HZRDUS (13.5 degrees)
2 Iron- Callaway Apex UT UST Mamiya Recoil ES (18 degrees)
4-6 Iron- Srixon Z565 DG S300
7-PW Iron- Srxion Z765 DG S300
Wedges- Cobra King PUR (52, 56, 60 degrees)
Putter- Taylormade Spider Tour Red

Think this bag has me set for quite some time now!

People should really look at that driver and three wood, they are both unreal!
Why unsure about the Jones? Very happy with mine must say, only difficulty i personally is the single strap, my back tends struggle a little at the end of the round but apart from that I love it. Ping moon bag is a classic!

I think it’s more the fact I live in the UK and it rains more than it’s dry! Although we are having a crazy summer this year! But for such a pretty bag I would want to use it all the time, but not sure their stand bag is a good enough replacement to the Hoofer.
My main thinking was using the Jones as my summer bag and the Hoofer in the winter

Only unsure about the Jones as I'm so attached to the minimalist nature of the Ping Moon bag. The Jones just may be a bit big, but I'll eventually use it and I'm sure I'll love it too.

Tried moving away from the original Ping bag but it is so perfect for when the weather is like it is right now!

How do you find the Hoofer? Stuck on my old Ping Moon bag and an 2nd gen 4 series bag.

Bought a Jones Players bag but haven't used it yet, just not quite sure about it!

I’m assuming you can fit 14 clubs in there quite easily?
Pocket wise, all good there as well?
What model is yours?

Yes 14 clubs easily, the pocket on the underside is larger than I thought it would be thus my being turned off it. It's the all-black Players series #001.

Sure I'll get round to using it at some point but doubtful this summer now.

Just added this to the bag

4 iron has been removed in its place, was looking for something more forgiving that I could hit high or low off the tee and into greens

I only bought this as it was going cheap and I wanted to see how this amount of loft would work for me, with the idea to buy something better after tests, but so far this little Mizuno has blown me away! So easy to hit! Ultra forgiving!

So, it’s gone straight into the bag!
Need more putter pictures too if your collection is as good as you suggest <img src='http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fishing1.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':fishing1:' />

I still have those wedges, they are by a brand called Haywood
The only really reason I don’t use them that often is because of the illegal grooves, I don’t want to get too used to them and then change to the RTX4 when I am playing in a club comp etc.

Putters are below, but rubbish photos due to the light, also got rid of a few recently so not as many as I used to have

My clubs were staring at me all weekend, sat in the office today and it's perfect out!
