Right now just have a Monterey Penisula trip booked. Playing Pasatiempo, Poppy Hills, Pacific Grove, Spyglass Hill, Spanish Bay, Pebble Beach, and Bayonet or Blackhorse. Still need to book times for Pacific Grove and either Bayonet or Blackhorse.

Looking into combining a concert in Charlotte in October with a Pinehurst trip. Concert is on a Monday night, so thinking about going up on Saturday and play 18, then 36 on Sunday, then 18 early on Monday. The drive is only about 2 hours. So finish around noon and then should be just about check in time!

Lots of golf to be played at the home club between now and then. Besides, if I took too many golf trips, they wouldn't seem so special.

Thanks. I’m considering playing grizzly ranch and/or coyote moon. Your thoughts?

I have my 3rd annual Ohio Golf/ Kentucky NASCAR race weekend coming up in mid-July. I'm playing The Virtues Club (#1 Public in Ohio) on Friday the 13th, Stonelick Hills (outside of Cincinnati) Saturday morning and likely the Quarry Golf Club (Canton, OH) on my way back to PA Sunday.

The quarry is a lot of fun and my favorite public in Ohio despite an un walkable routing. Virtues is good too

MB in a couple weeks. Arrowhead, Glen Dornoch, and The Thistle are lined up. We’ll probably do a replay on one and try to squeeze in a different course one day.

My favorite was Western Gailes, even though we played it in a heavy wind, and I didn't play very well. Prestwick was great for the history, and some really unique and fun holes, but I somehow expected to enjoy it more than I did. North Berwick is great fun. The Glen was a surprise, not really a links, but outstanding views from all parts of the course, and a good challenge as well. Dunbar was really good too, right on the water. All were good, I'd play any of them again. Probably the least likely to replay would be Prestwick. And yes, Musselburgh Old is inside the racetrack. That was a blast too, now I've played each of the first 3 Open Championship courses, I played the Old Course back in 2011 and 2012.

The snow in the UK has really messed with the itenerary on my trip.

    Was supposed to play

    Huntercombe/St Georges Hill day 1

    Machrihanish/Machrihanish Dunes/Dunaverty day 2

    Dornich/Brora day 3

    Dornoch day 4

    Isle of Harris day 5

    Askernish day 6

Almost all of those courses ended up covered in snow so instead its been

Royal North Devon 36 days 1/2

    Prestwick 36 day 3

    Machrihanish/Machrihanish Dunes/Dunaverty day 4

    Muirfield 36/Gullane day 5

    Cruden Bay 54 day 6

54 holes in one day? sounds like golf heaven :-) .
    Countdown for Augusta!!!
